Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam invites applications from the eligible candidates to pursue the ITI course in various trades as given in the article below. Candidates will get admission in various trades like NCVT and CEO etc. in ITI colleges of Assam state. The authority will publish official notification for Assam ITI Admission 2024 announcing crucial dates for the admission process.

Assam ITI Admission Process:–

> After registration, all the candidates will have to report to their nearest Govt. ITI along with their all original documents, certificates, etc. within the scheduled date & time, for verification of their registration particulars.
> Candidates should note that after successful verification, they may fill their choices of trades and ITIs according to their preference, to enable them to participate in the allotment process.
> Allotted candidates should take admission in their allotted seats otherwise their candidature will be treated as cancelled.
> The passed-out candidates from NCVT trades will be issued NCVT certificates & from SCVT trades will be issued SCVT certificates.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to fulfill the given eligibility criteria for filling the application form –

  • Candidates must have passed the Entry Qualification Exam (class 8 or Class 10 whichever applicable for their selected trades.)
  • Engineering Trade – The candidates must have passed the entry qualification examination with Mathematics & English.
  • Non-Engineering Trade -The candidates must have passed the entry qualification examination with English.
  • The age of candidates for admission must not be below 14 years as on 1st August 2024.

Assam ITI Application Form

All the candidates who are eligible as per the prescribed norms can apply online at the official website. The DECT will publish the notification for Assam ITI admission 2024 intimating all the crucial information like course or trade wise eligibility, instructions for making the application form, etc. Candidates should read the information brochure completely. Check the following information with regard to the Assam ITI application form:

  • Visit the official website of the Assam ITI-
  • Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
  • Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by Assam ITI
  • Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
  • A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
  • Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
  • Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
  • Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Net Banking, or challan
  • Take a print out of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses

Application Fee:

  • The Application fee for Assam ITI will be 25for all candidates.
  • The payment of the application fee can be done through online mode.
  • Online payment can be done through credit card/ debit card or net banking.
  • The application fee will be non-refundable in nature.

Assam ITI Counselling Procedure:

Assam ITI 2024 Counselling will begin from the month of July 2024. Counselling will be done through online mode. Candidates will have to submit their original documents for the verification process. If any candidate does not attend the counseling round, seats will be canceled to them and offered to the next candidate.

Candidates will have to submit the following documents at the day of counselling:

  • 8thclass mark sheet
  • 10thclass mark sheet
  • Migration certificate
  • Nativity certificate
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Seat allotment letter
  • Caste certificate
  • Passport size photographs, etc.

Result

In order to check out the UP ITI 2024 result, candidates are required to visit the official web portal of Raajya Vyaavasaayik Prashikshan Parishad , Uttar Pradesh and click the direct link specified for the result. Upon clicking this link, candidates will be asked to provide their roll number and date of birth. After entering these information, candidates will be able to check their result.

Assam ITI Seat Allotment Process 2024

  1. After the choice filling process gets over, the officials will prepare a merit list for the purpose of seat allotment as per the category of the candidates. The seats will be allocated purely on a provisional basis

  2. After being allocated a seat, the candidate has to visit the institute where he/she has been allocated the seat for the purpose of taking admission

  3. In case a candidate has not been able to grab a seat, he/she should participate in the next counselling round for which he/she has to provide the choices of colleges and courses again

  4. If a candidate opts for the “Freezing of Seats” option, then he/she will be allowed to participate in the next counselling round while at the same time keeping the previously allocated seat.
