Punjab JET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Candidates must have successfully cleared class X or equivalent examination from some recognized board or university to apply for the exam.
- Candidates must have compulsory subjects such as Science & Mathematics in the qualifying examination.
- There will be no age limit to apply for Punjab JET 2024
Application Form
The application form for Punjab diploma admission 2024 will be released in online mode. The candidates will be able to fill and submit their application by visiting the official website. The interested candidates can start filling their Punjab JET application form from the month of May 2024.
How to Apply
- The application form can be submitted through online mode.
- The Punjab JET application form will be available online from 21st July 2024.
- Interested candidates can submit Punjab JET application form 2024 till 16th August 2024.
- Candidates are recommended that be extra cautious during submitting an application form as correction or modification in the application form will not be allowed later.
- You also need to make payment of application fee as it is one of the mandatory requirements.
Application Fee
- The candidates need to pay Rs.550/- as online application fee.
- Candidates have to pay the application fee through online mode only.

- OBC Category Reservation (Five Percent) 5%
- The disabled person Category Reservation 3% (Three Percent)
- Sportsperson Category Reservation 2% (Two Percent)
- Children/ grandchildren of freedom fighters Category Reservation 1% (one Percent)
- Border Areas/ Backward Areas (2% each) Category Reservation 4% (Four Percent)
- SC/ ST Category Reservation 25% 4% (Twenty Five Percent)
Punjab JET 2024 Counselling & Admission
The board will announce the Punjab JET counselling 2024 in the month of June. The candidates who have scored marks more than the cut-off marks will be eligible to sit in the counselling procedure. Online counselling will be scheduled for the candidates for providing admission. Physical appearance of the candidates is not required at the time of counselling. Candidates can exercise their choices for college/trade at the time of counselling. There will be two rounds of centralized counselling. The vacant seats shall be filled through direct admission.
Punjab Polytechnic Merit List 2024
PSBTE & IT will release a merit list of Punjab Polytechnic 2024 in online mode. Punjab Polytechnic admission 2024 merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in Class 10th or equivalent exam. The authorities will also release the category-wise merit list of Punjab Polytechnic 2024 along with the general merit list. Based on the merit list, candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling process of Punjab Polytechnic admission 2024.
Process Of Punjab JET Counselling 2024
- Applicants have to fill the counselling form to participate in the counselling procedure. Without registration, no applicants will be eligible to appear in the counselling.
- Those applicants participate successfully in the counselling process will be needed to exercise the choices of institution & branches according to the preferences.
- Applicants have to report directly to the allotted college after the result announcement of the first applicant’s documents will be verified in the allotted institution.
- The admission of the applicants will be confirmed only after the deposition of the course fees.
- Applicants, those like to upgrade their previous allotted seats on the first counselling will also eligible to appear in the second in this case, applicant’s earlier allotment of seat will be automatically cancelled.
