JIS University is a private university located near Agarpara, West Bengal, India It was established in 2014 under JIS University Act, 2014. JIS Group Educational Initiatives – the largest educational conglomerate of Eastern India with 30 Institutions, 140 programmes and 37,000 students began its journey 21 years back. JIS University is one of well-known university in west Bengal state. The journey, though not easy, has been quite a successful one. JIS University has an objective to provide instructions, teaching, training and research in various branches and specialised fields of Science, Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Management, Law, Social Sciences and Education. B.Tech
Eligibility Criteria: 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects.

BCA
Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 from any stream with 50% marks with English and Mathematics/ Computer Application/ Business Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized Board.

Bachelor in Hospital Management (BHM)
10+2 in any stream with 50% marks and English as one of the subjects

BMLT
Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 in Science stream with 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Mathematics as main subjects at 10+2 level

B.Ed.
Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanities with 50% marks OR B.Tech/ B.E with 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification

B.Sc. (Hons)
Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 with 50% marks in Science stream with Biology as a compulsory subject in addition to any two subjects from Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics / Computer Science/ Statistics

B.Sc.
Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 in any stream

MBA
Eligibility Criteria: 50% marks in Graduation (any stream) as well as in 10+2
CAT / XAT/ MAT qualified candidates can directly apply for GD/ PI. Such candidates are exempted from University Entrance Test

M.Sc
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates from Universities of West Bengal with B.Sc. (Hons) in relevant discipline are eligible. Candidates from other states should have a minimum of 50%

LLM
Eligibility Criteria: LLB course with 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST and 42% for OBC). Candidates should have either a 5-years Integrated or 3-years Law course degree
