HPU MCA Admission Process

• Candidates who want to enter the MCA program at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla will have must satisfy the eligibility criteria.
• Eligibility criteria contain qualifying, the maximum age criteria, mandatory subjects in the qualifying examination, etc., which is every applier have to satisfy to apply in HPU MCA 2024 examination.
• Eligible candidates can fill the On-Line application form of HPU MCA 2024 on the official portal at http://www.hpucs.ac.in/, access page by using login credentials to fill the application form.

How To Apply For HPU MCA Entrance Exam 2024?

• Firstly, visit the official website of Himachal Pradesh University, @hpuniv.ac.in.
• Go to the Admission tab on the home page.
• Click on the HPU MCA 2024 Notification.
• Check for eligibility.
• If you are eligible, then click on Apply Online link.
• Register yourself with a valid email id and mobile number.
• Fill the form with all required details.
• Upload scanned documents if needed.
• Make payment either by challan or online.
• Finally, click on submit.
• Take a printout copy of the form for the future.

HPU MCA Entrance Exam 2024 Eligibility 

• Aspiring candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with 50% (45% in case of SC / ST) marks in any discipline from any of the recognized universities with Mathematics at +2 level; or
• BCA / B.Sc (IT) / B.Sc (Computer Science)/any graduate with computers as one of the subjects in all the three years of graduation with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC / ST) from a university established by law in India.
• The maximum age limit for admission to the MCA course is 26 years for the general category, 29 years for the SC / ST category, and 28 years for girl candidates, as of the 1st July of the year of Admission

HPU MCA Entrance Exam 2024 Result

HPU MCA 2024 Result will be announced on the official website and all the applicants are requested to login using their credentials and check their results. Candidates who have qualified the examination will be further called to attend the Counselling session about which the candidates will read about in the next section of the article.

The minimum qualifying marks for subsidised as well as non subsidized seats in the Entrance Examination shall be 35%, i.e. 46 marks out of 130 marks and no minimum qualifying marks shall be restricted in the case of SC/ST.

• Log in by entering your Email ID, DOB & Roll No. or your Application Number & Verification Code.
• Click on ‘Submit’ button.
• Now, admit card displays on the screen.
• Download and take the printouts of admit card for further references.
