MBA Entrance Exam 2024-Admission- Dates, Registrations, Eligibility

MBA entrance tests are used to narrow down candidates for MBA admittance. In India, there are more than 50 entrance tests for major MBA programs. The most well-known is the CAT exam, which is administered by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). MBA admission exams in India are held at three different levels.

These entrance tests are designed with a view to objectively measure your aptitude and the general skills as expected from a future manager/ organizer.

CAT (Common Admission Test)

CAT stands for Common Admission Test. It is a national-level MBA/ PGDM entrance test conducted for admission in 20 IIMs and 1000+ other CAT score accepting B-schools. Every year around 2,00,000 candidates apply for CAT exam to get admission to 5000+ MBA/ PGDM seats.

XAT

MAT Management Aptitude Test

Management Aptitude Test, abbreviated as MAT, is a national level entrance exam for admission in MBA/PGDM courses in different B-schools in India. It is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association) in 3 modes: PBT, CBT, and IBT, and the candidates can choose the MAT Exam mode at their convenience and comfort.

Eligibility	AIMA does not prescribe a minimum percentage of marks in graduation for appearing in MAT exam. However, for admission into colleges, candidates will be required to obtain a minimum percentage that varies from college to college. No Upper Age Limit is set by AIMA to take MAT exam

CMAT

The CMAT 2024 entrance test is organized by the NTA every year. It is a nationwide entry-level test that is carried out for admission to different management courses. Based on CMAT scores, applicants will be granted admission to different management institutions located in the country. Using the CMAT score, over 1000 participating institutions will accept admission.

Eligibility	The aspirant must have completed graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised university. Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for CMAT 2024 but they will have to present the passing certificate at the time of admission.

GMAT

 is a national level examination. Graduation Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) is organized by Graduation Management Admission Council (GMAC). It is a national level exam conducted multiple times in a year. Candidates are permitted to take this exam 2 times in a year. There will be a gap of 6 months between each exam. Admission will be offered to candidates into MBA courses in India & Foreign countries.

SNAP

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a university level entrance exam conducted by the Symbiosis International University every year. Though this exam, candidates can apply for admission in MBA programs in one of 16 Symbiosis International University campuses across the Pune, Nashik, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Nagpur.

CUSAT CAT

Cochin University of Science and Technology or CUSAT, conducts the Common Admission Test for admission to all UG and PG Programs except Ph.D. and Diploma programes. CUSAT CAT is a university-level entrance exams for candidates who wish to study at the university

IBSAT

With the release of IBSAT Notification, the first notification of any MBA entrance exam to be conducted in 2024 at All India level for MBA admission 2024, the registration process is also opened for IBSAT 2024. ATMA

AIMS Test for Management Admissions or ATMA is a national-level exam conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission to MBA, PGDM, MCA and PGDBA courses. More than 750 management institutes across India accept ATMA scores for admission to their management programmes. The test aims to assess the aptitude of candidates, which is necessary for higher management studies.

CUCET

CUCET, Central Universities Common Entrance Test is conducted once in a year. It is a national level entrance exam which is organized by the ten central universities. It will be conducted to offer admission in the various courses offered in the participating universities. Admissions are offered to the UG/ Integrated, PG & Research programmes. IIFT MBA

IIFT Delhi has been awarded ‘A Grade’ by NAAC. The college offers AICTE approved MBA in International Business Programme of 2-year duration Apart from the flagship MBA Program IIFT Delhi also offers Executive Diploma courses in International Business (IB), Human Resource Management (EPGDHRM), and International Business, International Business Strategy. For Admission to MBA (IB) course, IIFT shortlists candidates based on CBT exam conducted by NTA on behalf of IIFT followed by Group Discussion, Writing Skills Assessment and Interview.

GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test) GCET selects superior candidates so that they can attain admission to top institutions of Gujarat. Those who are willing to appear in the exam are required to fill out the application form and attain high success ahead in their career.

MP MET

The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board will soon release MP MET 2024 notification. Madhya Pradesh Management Entrance Test is conducted for providing admission to MBA courses in management colleges of Madhya Pradesh. It is a state-level MBA entrance exam for which application form is released in online mode.

DU MBA

Delhi University also offers an MBA programme of two-year duration via Faculty of Management Studies. The college focuses on practical learning that it conducts various workshops from time to time in addition to internship programmes

IPU CET MBA 

IPU CET MBA 2024 is the entrance examination for admission to MBA, MBA (International Business), MBA (Financial Management), MBA (Financial Analysis) and MBA (Analytics). IPU CET MBA 2024 is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

AMU

Aligarh Muslim University is a public central university in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India, which was originally established by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan as the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College in 1875. Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College became Aligarh Muslim University in 1920.

AP ICET

Andhra Pradesh State Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET), is a state level entrance exam conducted for admission to MBA and MCA programmes. After the formation of Telangana state, this test is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. The test will be conducted for Post Graduation admissions into all the universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges.

TS ICET

Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET), is a state level entrance exam conducted for admission to MBA and MCA programmes. After the formation of Telangana state, this test is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. The test will be conducted for Post Graduation admissions into all the universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges.

TANCET

TANCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Anna University once every year for admission to post-graduate M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, programs offered by more than 200 colleges in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is conducted for admission to PG courses in Tamil Nadu. The exam is conducted by the Anna University, Chennai for admission to M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./ M.E./ MCA/ MBA programmes. The TANCET score is accepted by more than 200 colleges in the state. Those who qualify for the exam are eligible for admission into various government and non-government colleges.

UPSEE

UPSEE is the short form for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam. This exam is targeted at state level by the students to get admission into various colleges that are affiliated to Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Once cleared, the exam provides admission to the courses B.

KMAT

KMAT is an All India exam that will be held in more than 10 cities all across the country and is open to candidates from all parts of India and Abroad. KMAT is Gateway to MBA in Karnataka and Bangalore, Silicon Valley of India and No 1 Destination for MBA/PGDM with a vibrant Job market

JE MAT

JEMAT 2024 (Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test) is a State level entrance examination organized by Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). JEMAT was organized to offer admission in MBA, MHA, and Part-time MBA.

Gujarat Common Entrance Test, also known as GUJCET is the exam conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to undergraduate Engineering and Pharmacy courses in the state. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board conduct the GUJCET exam every year.  Admission to UG Engineering programs in the state government and private/self-financed institutes of Gujarat is given through GUJCET.
