The college offers two UG courses – MBBS and B.Sc. nursing. As PG courses, the college offers various specializations with MD and MD/MS degrees, along with M.Sc. degree in Anatomy and Master’s degree in Hospital Administration. Other than the UG and PG courses, the college also offers PG Diploma courses as well as a number of Super speciality courses.

AFMC Nursing: . This national level entrance exam is conducted to offer admission into 4 year B.Sc nursing course. Candidates interested to serve in the Military nursing service are required to qualify in this entrance exam. Only female candidates are eligible to take admission. Admission will be on the basis of NEET scores.

AFMC MBBS:  Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune conducts a national level admission procedure for admission in their MBBS Programs. The admission procedure will be conducted for the NEET UG qualified candidates only. Through this admission process, AFMC will shortlist the NEET qualified candidates for admission in MBBS program in AFMC, Pune.

AFMC Nursing 2024 Application Form

  • The application form of AFMC Nursing 2024 will be made available from April 2024.
  • Only online method is made available to fill the form.
  • Aspirants who are registering for AFMC nursing will have to go through many steps of registration.
  • They are required to fill complete details in the application form when the submission of form is done.
  • Aspirants will need to submit their application form by the end of third week of May 2024.
  • After the submission of application form, the fee needs to be done.

Application Fee for AFMC BSC Nursing

  • Application Fee is Rs.200 for applicants of general category.
  • There is no application fee for SC/ ST category.
  • Application Fee is non-refundable.
  • Payment mode: Candidates can pay application fee through debit/ credit card/ net banking method.

Eligibility Criteria for AFMC Nursing

  • Students must have passed with Physics, Biology, Chemistry (Botany and Zoology) and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks from recognized board. Students appearing in final year of qualifying exam are eligible to apply.
  • Applying candidate must have passed 10th & 12th level (in first attempt) or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
  • Candidates who are unmarried/ divorced/ legally separated/ widow without encumbrances are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for AFMC MBBS

  •  Candidates should have passed 10+2 intermediate at single attempts from any recognised board.
  • Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in PCB and 50% marks in English and science subjects.
  • Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.

MD: Must have a passing score in NEET PG (366). SC/ST have a relaxation cut off of 319. Should have claimed an MBBS degree from any recognized medical college.

MS: Must have a passing score in NEET PG (366). All SC/ST has a relaxation cut off of 319. Should have claimed an MBBS degree from any recognized medical college.

MCH:  Must have a passing score in NEET PG (366). SC/ST have a relaxation cut off of 319. Should have claimed an MBBS degree from any recognized medical college.

AFMC Nursing Exam Pattern

  • Exam Mode: The paper will be conducted using a computer-based test (CBT).
  • Number of Questions: 150 questions.
  • Types of Questions: The paper will include objective questions.
  • Time Limit: The paper will be 90 minutes long.
  • Maximum Marks The paper will be a total of 150 marks.
  • Subjects: Questions will be asked from three different subjects: general English, general intelligence, and science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).
  • Marking Scheme: One mark for every correct answer.
  • Negative marking: No negative marking.

AFMC MBBS Exam Patten 2024:

Below we have provided the complete exam pattern for the AFMC  2024 Examination:

  • Exam Mode: The examination will be conducted through CBT (computer-based test/ online) mode.
  • Questions Type: The Question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) 
  • Total questions: There will be total 40 questions in the question paper.
  • Exam Duration: Total 30 minutes will be allotted to the applicants for solving the question paper.
  • Marking scheme: Each correct answer will be consist of 2 marks and 0.5 marks will be deducted on each wrong answer.

How to Apply?

Students must be extremely careful while applying as no changes can be made after applying and candidates are allowed to submit only one application.
  • After NEET dates are announced, students will have to apply for counselling by registering in the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) website.

AFMC MBBS Merit List 2024

Merit list for AMFC will be announced soon. Selected candidates will be called for the screening test. AFMC will then release the final AFMC MBBS 2024 merit list after the screening test. Eligible candidates will required to report to the institute for admission to MBBS course.
