AAU VET 2024 Entrance Test also known as the Assam Agricultural University Veterinary Entrance Test will be conducted by AAU (Assam Agricultural University). It is a university-level exam that is conducted every year. Candidates must be residents of Assam and fulfill the eligibility criteria. Assam Agricultural University Veterinary Entrance Test is for BVSc. & A.H. Degree Programme. For this entrance exam, students must have passed the intermediate examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology subjects. Of course, the entrance exam will enable the students to pursue a desirable career in veterinary and animal husbandry.

How to Apply for AAU VET 2024?
- Visit the official website of Assam Agricultural University.
- Register by entering your name, date of birth, email ID, and phone number. The login ID will be sent to candidates via email.
- Log in by using your user ID and Password.
- Fill AAU VET 2024 Application Form online.
- Enter personal and educational qualification details in the application form.
- Upload scanned passport size photograph (3cm X 4cm) in jpeg format along with scanned signature (3cm X 1cm) in .jpg format.
- Upload your educational certificates and certificate of residence of Assam.
- Verify if all the details furnished in the application form are accurate.
- Submit the application form.

AAU VET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

(10 + 2) passed students from Science stream having the certificate of Permanent Residence of Assam should apply for the test.

Those appearing in (10 + 2, science) are also eligible to sit in the VET 2024, but they have to pass 10 + 2 exams before the date of admission.

The applicants belonging to the general category must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam, and there will be a relaxation of 5% marks for reserved categories.

The wards of defense/paramilitary personnel posted in the State of Assam for at least one year are also eligible to apply for VET 2024.
- He or she has completed the minimum age of 17 years and the maximum age of 25 years before the 31st December that year of his or her admission to the 1st year of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Course.

Needless to say, a hall ticket is one of the mandatory documents while going to take the entrance examination. However, if you fail to take the hall ticket at the exam center, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall center.
Apart from admit card, there are many other documents that should be with you at the examination center. These include government-certified identity proof (Voter ID Card, P.A.N. Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License) and passport size photos.
