Nagaland University was started on 06 September 1994, it is the 13th central University. The University has 37 departments which are offering Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD programmes in different disciplines of Arts, Commerce, Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Engineering & Technology, and Management streams and 65 colleges in all over the state of Nagaland which is currently affiliated to Nagaland University.

Nagaland PG Eligibility Criteria

• For admission into M.A /M.Sc/M.Com/ M.Ed, candidates must have passed three-year Degree Course with Honours/Major with 50% (45% for SC/ST categories) marks and for General stream students of Arts, Commerce and Science with 55% (50% for SC/ST categories) in the concerned subject
• Candidates must have a B.Sc.(Ag.)Hons./ B.Sc.(Hons)Ag./ B.Sc.(Hort.) Degree from any ICAR recognized Institution/University with minimum CGPA. Candidates with B.Sc. (Hort.) are eligible for admission in all M.Sc.(Ag.) Programme. (except Agronomy & Livestock Production & Management). However, they have to complete the deficiency courses as decided by the concerned department.
• For admission to LLM course, candidates must have LLB degree with 55% (50% for SC/ST categories) of marks under 10+2+3 pattern or Five years integrated course under 10+2+5 pattern

For Ph.D. Programme

• Candidate willing to apply for any Ph.programme must have a postgraduate degree in the respective subject Securing the minimum 55% marks in the master’s degree in the relevant subject are required to appear for an entrance test followed by the interview which will be conducted by the respective departments.

For M.Phil Programme

• Candidate willing to apply for any M.Phil course must have graduate degree in the respective subject Securing the minimum 55% (50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST) marks in the master degree in the subject concerned need to appear for an entrance test followed by interview which will be conducted by the respective department offering the course

 Nagaland University Admission Process for M.Ed:

• Candidates need to apply online on the university website.
• They have to fill in the application form with correct information and pay the application fee.
• Candidates have to appear and qualify the entrance/admission test.
• Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the interview.
• Further, the candidates have to complete the admission process, which includes document verification and fee payment.
