IISc PhD Admission 2024, M.Tech

 Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore will offer admission to the PhD Program(s). Candidates who are eligible can apply online at the official website i.e iisc.ac.in as per the schedule. The application has been filled through online mode only. The final selection of the candidate will be made through based on performance in the interview or in NTA (National Entrance Tests) or through the academic performance in the qualifying degree examination.

IISC PhD Admission 2024 Selection Process

For Research Programmes [PhD/M.Tech (research)]:

Candidates will be shortlisted for an interview based on their performance in the National Entrance Test or the qualifying degree as detailed mentioned above. The selection will be based on the performance in the interview (in some of the departments, a written test will precede the interview).

For Integrated PhD Programmes:

Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on their JAM 2024 score for all the four disciplines and also JEST 2024 for Physical Sciences. Selection for different discipline is given as under:

• (a) Chemical Sciences is based on the performance in the Interview
• (b) Biological, Physical and Mathematical Sciences is based on combined performance in the qualifying examination and interview.
