UEM Kolkata Admission 2024- Eligibility, Application Form

UEM Kolkata was established in 2014 as a private university approved by the AICTE, the UGC, and the Bar Council of India. It is an integral part of the IEM Education Trust and it majorly focuses on the field of technology, management, and engineering.  The University of Engineering and Management Kolkata, popularly known as UEM Kolkata came into existence in the year 2014 to provide quality education to the students from the state as well as all over the country in various fields of Engineering and Management. Government of West Bengal’s Act no 25 of 2014 saw the emergence of UEM Kolkata in New Town, which has slowly yet steadily become one of the top 10 institutes in the country.

Eligibility

Course Details: B.Tech

• Eligibility: The applicant should have scored 60% marks in 10th and 12th and must have PCM in class 12th.
• Selection Criteria: WBJEE/JEE Main/IEMJEE score.

Course Details: BBA, BBA LL.B (Hons.)

• Eligibility: The candidate must have obtained 50% marks in class 10th and 12th.
• Selection Criteria: IEMJEE score.

Course Details: BCA

• Eligibility: The candidate must have scored 50% marks in 10th and 10+2 with Mathematics/Computer Applications/Business Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects in 10+2.
• Selection Criteria: CET/IEMJEE score.

Course Details: B.Sc, B.Sc LL.B (Hons.)

• Eligibility: The applicant must have acquired 60% marks in class 10th and 12th
• Selection Criteria: IEMJEE

Course Details:  MBA

• Eligibility: The candidate must have scored 50% marks in class 10th, 12th, and Graduation.
• Selection Criteria: CAT/MAT/WBJEMAT/IEMJEE or any other state or national level examination.

Course Details:  Executive MBA (Part-Time)

• Eligibility: The applicant must have obtained 60% marks in class 10th, 12th, and Graduation.

Course Details: MCA

• Eligibility: The candidate must have done BCA/B.Sc (CS/IT/Computer Application) with 60% marks.
• Selection Criteria: WBJECA/IEMJEE or any other national or state level examination.

Course Details: M.Tech

• Eligibility: B.Tech/M.Sc/MCA with 60% marks in relevant subjects.
• Selection Criteria: GATE/PGET/IEMJEE or any other national or state level examination.

UEM Kolkata Admission Process

• UEM Kolkata conducts its entrance exam named IEMJEE to offer admission to all UG courses offered at the university
• Admission to PhD programme is done based on UGC NET/ GATE examination followed by an interview conducted by the university
• Admission to the MCA programme is done based on WB JECA conducted by various colleges of West Bengal
• For the MTech programme, admission is given based on GATE/ PGCET examination
• UEM Kolkata MBA admission is given based on CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT examination
• For PG courses, candidates who have not appeared in any national or state level entrance examination have to appear for IEMJEE followed by GD & PI conducted by the university
