BCECE Nursing 2024 exam is a state-level entrance exam that facilitates admission into Undergraduate (UG) level programmes in Nursing, Pharmacy, and other Paramedical across colleges listed by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The exam will be conducted in offline (pen and paper) mode. Applicants belonging to Bihar state will be given preference. There are a total of 180 seats available across three nursing colleges in Bihar which provisions admission under the BCECE nursing 2024 exam.

Bihar B.Sc. Nursing 2024 Highlights:

Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and other Paramedical Graduate courses, as well as B.Sc Nursing and B.Pharm courses, are among the courses to which the BCECE exam is applicable. Those who wish to pursue the courses must meet the eligibility criteria, complete the application forms, and sit for the Bihar Paramedical, B.Sc Nursing, and B.Pharm selection processes, as outlined by the Board.

Bihar B.Sc. Nursing Admission 2024 Important Dates

Eligible for BCECE Nursing 2024

• The applicants should have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized school or the institute from Bihar state. The candidates should have scored 45 per cent on aggregate in qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects.
• Candidates should be 17 years of as of December 31, 2024. Candidates born after December 31, 2004, will be not offered admissions.
• The candidates’ parents should be domiciled in the state of Bihar, or
• Candidates’ parents should be a registered refugee in Bihar, or
• Candidates’ parent is an employee of the Government of Bihar, or
• The candidates’ parent is a Central Government or PSU employee, currently posted in Bihar.

BCECE 2024 Paramedical Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: The applicant must have passed Class XII/I.SC or equivalent from a recognised institute in Bihar. The core subjects in this qualifying examination should be English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Age: The applicant must have attained the age of 17 years

Domicile:

• Either parent of the applicant is domiciled in the state of Bihar, or
• Either parent of the applicant is a registered refugee in Bihar, or
• Either parent of the applicant is an employee of the Government of Bihar, or
• Either parent of the applicant is an employee of the Central Government or PSU, currently posted in Bihar

• The applicants should have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized school or the institute from Bihar state. The candidates should have scored 45 per cent on aggregate in qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects.
• Applicants should be 17 years of as of December 31, 2024. Candidates born after December 31, 2004, will be not offered admissions.

Bihar B.Sc Nursing Application Form 2024:

• Open the official website and download the application form and prospectus.
• Check the instructions given in the prospectus, and fill out the application form.
• Enter personal, educational, course-related details, and contact details.
• Provides the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed size and format mentioned on the official website.
• Fill out the application with the correct details.
• Take a print of the duly filled application form and submit the form.

Application Fee

• The OBC and general category candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- as application fee for Bihar B.Sc Nursing 2024-2024.
• However, the application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 500 only.
• Further, if the general category candidates want to appear in the entrance exam from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, then the application fee is Rs. 1100/-
• However, if the SC/ST category students want to do the same, then the application fee will be Rs. 550/- (for all subjects).

Counseling is the last and final procedure of admission. The counseling process will be held according to the merit of the candidates. During this process, candidates can fill and lock the selections. However, admission will be provided on the candidate’s scores in the entrance examination.
