UG Courses:

• For B. Ed, Admissions are done on merit, and qualifying exams are conducted by the university.
• BA + B.Ed and B.Sc + B.Ed
• Candidates are required to have completed 10+2+3 examinations conducted by the respective state board/ CBSE or any other recognized board of examination with a minimum of 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ ST category candidates.

PG Courses:

• For M.Ed the admissions are given based on the entrance test conducted by the university and merit-based upon scores obtained in bachelors.
• For admissions in M.Phil and Ph.D., SELT, UGC, NET, or JRF test scores along with interview marks are considered.
• The part-time Ph.D. course admissions are only done based on the previous record.

• TNTEU offers various doctoral programs at part-time and full-time levels. The full-time M.Phil program lasts for 1 year, while the part-time course lasts for 2 years.
• TNTEU Ph.D. admission program requires a course length of 3 years.
• An applicant must have completed postgraduate studies in education is the minimum requirement for all doctoral programs.

TNTEU Application Process

• Candidates applying for the M.Ed Program should fill the online application from the official website.
  Fill the application form with all required information.
• Take the print out of the filled application form.
• Attach the required documents to the printed application and send it to the office address of the Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University.

Admit Card:

• The admit card will be issued at the official site.
• E-Admit card will be made available at the TNTET web portal.
• The instruction is mention in the official site to download the admit card
• Candidates can easily download their admit card through application number and password.
• Admit card is an important document to carry to the Entrance exam hall.
• Candidates need to reach the examination center on time.
• Candidates Without admit card will not be allowed to appear in the written examination.
