Scottish Church College is a college affiliated by Calcutta University, India. It offers selective co-educational undergraduate and postgraduate studies and is the oldest continuously running Christian liberal arts and sciences college in India. Motto in English: “The bush burns, but is not consumed”. The College is the second oldest in North Calcutta and has produced numerous outstanding people, chief among them being Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The college also enjoys the status of College with Potential for Excellence, a quality rating by the University Grants Commission.
