Eligibility Criteria for AKTU PhD Admission 2024

• Masters Degree or a Professional Degree recognized as equivalent with minimum 55% marks.
• B.E/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech (First Division or equivalent CGPA in either of one) in Electronics & Comm. Engg/Electronics Engg/ Electronics & Instrument Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology/Bioinformatics/ Software Engineering/ ECE.
• A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, shall be granted to those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently able and other categories of candidates.

How to apply?

Students who wish to apply to APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University may follow the steps given below for the admission process:

1. Students are required to register for the UPSEE exam on the official website of UPSEE.
2. All details in the registration form including education details, names and addresses need to be filled accurately.
3. Results are declared on the official website of UPSEE, which can be consequently checked by the candidates. Interested candidates are then required to fill the application form available on the AKTU website.
4. Fill the necessary details which includes education details, names, addresses and results of qualifying examinations.
5. The list of shortlisted candidates are declared on the ‘What’s New’ and ‘important links’ section on the official website.
6. Admission to UG and PG programmes which do not require UPSEE results are entirely based on the aggregate in previous qualifying exams followed by a counselling round, conducted by AKTU’s affiliated colleges.

AKTU MTech Admission 2024

Uttar Pradesh Technical University offers a two-year MTech programme under 19 specialisations. For seeking admission to the programme, candidates need to possess a valid UPSEE rank. GATE-qualified candidates are also considered for AKTU MTech admission.
