Allahabad University 2024 Eligibility Criteria

BA LLB: Must have passed 10+2/11+1 with at least 45% marks (general)/42% marks (OBC) from a recognised Board (40% marks for SC/ST)

BPA: Must have passed/appeared 10+2 with Music as one of the compulsory subjects from a recognised Board

BFA: Must have passed/appeared 10+2 in any stream from a recognised Board

B.com: Must have passed/appeared 10+2 in Commerce/Science stream from a recognised Board

BSC: Must have passed/appeared 10+2 in any stream with Home Science as one of the compulsory subjects from a recognised Board

BA: Must have passed/appeared 10+2 in any stream from a recognised Board

Master of Science (Nursing): Applicants must have passed B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum aggregate of 55% from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

Master of Arts (Economics) Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Economics or an equivalent thereto from a UGC recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Master of Science (Environment Management): Candidates must have passed a B.Sc. degree or an equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% or a B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc. (Engg.) in Chemical/Agricultural Engg/Civil with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Master of Science (Biodiversity & Conservation): Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in either Botany/Biotechnology/Zoology/Anthropology/Biochemistry/any field of Life Sciences or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks.

PhD: Candidates must have completed a master’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate score.

PHD Selection Criteria
Candidates who have qualified for the CRET entrance exam are eligible to apply for various doctorate specializations.
Candidates qualified in UGC-NET OR JRF OR SLET are exempted from appearing for CRET entrance.
Candidates shortlisted based on CRET score have to undergo a counseling round for final admission.

Following are the complete exam pattern for the Allahabad university 2024 Examination:

• Exam Mode: The examination will be conducted through both online as well as offline mode.
• Questions Type: The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) only.
• Duration: Total 2 hours will be allotted to the candidates for solving the question paper.
• Number of Questions: There will be total 150 questions in the question paper.
