Aligarh Muslim University, also known as AMU, was established in 1920 with the intention of providing high-quality education in a broad range of subjects. At the moment, it provides education at the Undergraduate level, the Graduate level, the Diploma level, the Certificate level, and the Doctorate level among its 13 faculties. The Aligarh Muslim University welcomes applications from students residing in other countries as well. Students from countries that are members of SAARC and the Commonwealth will also have seats earmarked for them.

AMU UG Admission 2024: B.Sc, BA, B.Com, BFA, B.P.Ed, B.Lib.Sc & B.Ed

At the undergraduate level, the university provides a variety of programs including BA (H), B.Sc (H), B.Com (H), BFA, B.P.Ed, and B.Ed in a variety of specialties. With the exception of B.Ed/ B.Li.Sc and B.P.Ed, which need a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate field, the bare minimum requirement for admission to these programs is a pass in 10+2 with at least 50% of the possible points. The departmental examination, as well as the entrance exam, are required in order to gain admission conducted at different centers.

AMU B.Tech & B.Arch Admission 2024:

At the undergraduate level, AMU provides full-time B.Tech, BE (Evening), and B.Arch programs in a variety of academic fields. The minimal requirement for admission is a 10+2 education with a concentration in PCM. In order to provide entry into the B.Tech. and B.Arch. programs, AMU administers the AMUEEE Entrance Exam. In order to be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Architecture program at the institution, candidates need to pass an additional aptitude exam.

AMU MBBS, BDS & BUMS Admission 2024:

AMU Performance on the National Eligibility and Eligibility Test (NEET), followed by counseling, is required for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BUMS (Kamil-e-Tib-o-Jarahat). The Department-based Admission Test is administered by AMU and is required for admission to the Pre-Tib (BUMS) program. The basic requirements for qualifying are a 10+2 (PCB) degree with an aggregate mark of at least 50%.

AMU PG Admission 2024: M.Sc, MA, M.Com, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, MFA, MSW & LL.M

At the postgraduate level, AMU provides programs leading to the degrees of Master of Science, Master of Arts, Master of Education, Master of Professional Education, Master of Fine Arts, and Master of Laws. The preferred qualification for qualifying is a bachelor’s degree in the appropriate field with an overall grade point average of at least fifty percent. B.Ed. and B.P.Ed. degrees, respectively, are required as the bare minimum for admission to M.Ed. and M.P.Ed. programs. The criteria for final admission are determined by how well one does on the Departmental Admission Test.

AMU M.Tech, MBA, MCA & M.Arch Admission 2024:

The Master of Technology (M.Tech), the Master of Business Administration (MBA), and the Master of Computer Application (MCA) are all available as full-time programs at AMU. BE or B. Tech in the relevant field is necessary to enroll in the M.Tech program; however, a Bachelor’s degree is all that is required for MBA and MCA programs. Students need to be aware that taking mathematics at the undergraduate level is required in order to qualify for entrance to the MCA program.

AMU MD, MS, MDS & M.Ch Admission 2024:

In addition, AMU has an MD/MS program. MDS and M.Ch. programs offered at the postgraduate level. The score obtained in NEET PG comes first in the admissions process for MD and MS programs, followed by counseling. The applicant’s score on the NEET MDS and NEET SS exams will determine whether or not they are awarded admission to the MDS and M.Ch programs. MBBS degree recipients are qualified to submit applications to MD / MS programs, as well as MS / DNB for M.Ch. programs.
