APRCET SYLLABUS 2024 PARTICULARS

Exam Pattern

• The exam will be in Offline i.e. Paper and Pen-based Test (PBT).
• The question paper will be in English.
• There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) in the exam.
• The question paper will contain 2 sections as Part A and B.
• Part-A is Teaching and Research Aptitude for 90 marks, whereas Part-B is subject-specific for 90 marks.
• The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes.
• One mark will be for every correct answer.
• There will be negative marking as 1/6 marks will be deducted for an incorrect answer.

How to download the APRCET 2024 admit Card?

• Once Andhra University releases the APRCET 2024 admit card, candidates who have registered for the exam should visit the official website.
• On the homepage of the website, click on “Download Hall Ticket for APRCET 2024” which will redirect you to another page.
• Candidates should enter their mobile number and date of birth as credentials to log in.
• The APRCET 2024 admit card will be displayed on the screen. Candidates can download and take the printout of the admit card. Candidates must bring the admit card to the test centre.

APRCET 2024 Selection Process

The selection process of candidates for admission includes the following stages-

• Written examination- The first stage is the written exam. The initial selection of candidates will be made on the basis of written examination.
• Oral Interview / Viva-Voce examination- Candidates qualifying the written test will be called for interview/ Viva-Voce round.
• Certificate verification- Candidates after completing the interview round will be called for certificate verification/ counseling round. In this round seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates.

APRCET 2024 Interview

• The qualified candidates need to appear for the other round of admission after the entrance test which is known as the Personal Interview.
• In the interview, candidates need to tell about their area of interest.
• The interview consists of the Head of the department, Chairman, Board of Studies and one senior faculty member from the department nominated by vice-chancellor.
• The interview is of 20 marks in total.
• The interviewer judges candidates on these following grounds.
  • How much the candidate has the competence for the proposed research
  • How the proposed area of research is contributes to the additional knowledge.
  • How and why the research work must be taken by the college

AP RCET Counselling 2024

The Andhra University is going to conduct the AP RCET counseling after the declaration of Results. The candidates who got merit list have to appear for the AP RCET Counselling. Based on the merit the applicants will be called for the counseling. The AP RCET Counselling will be uploaded soon on the official website. After completion of counseling for the qualified aspirants, the seats will be allotted to the respective candidates.
