Ashoka University Admission 2024-Eligibility for UG, PG, BA, MA, PHD, Application Form

Ashoka University is a private university located in Sonipat, Haryana, India, focusing on liberal arts and sciences. It was established in 2014 by a group of philanthropists. Students are not expected to declare their Major until the middle of the second year. This is to ensure that they get plenty of time to try out various possibilities, to pursue extra-curricular and co-curricular interests, to discover new passions, and perhaps to change the trajectory of their lives. Students enrolled at Ashoka University can choose their Major from a total of 21 pure or interdisciplinary options. Students can also pick Minors from among 18 disciplines on offer. Over the duration of their undergraduate programme, it is mandatory for students to undertake 9 Foundation Courses and 2 Co-curricular Courses.

Eligibility

• BA: 10+2
• B.Sc.: Eligibility – 10+2 in PCM
• M. A: Eligibility – Graduation
• PHD: Eligibility – post graduation

Selection criteria

• Admission to the UG courses is based solely on merit.
• For the YIF program, any UG or PG degree holder or a candidate awaiting his/her final year examination for the same can apply
• Admission to M.A. in Liberal Studies is restricted to the graduates of the Young India Fellowship.
• For M.A. in Economics, students with a relevant UG degree are eligible to apply.
• Final selection for PG courses will be based on the entrance exam merit
