By 1946, the school obtained affiliation with Bombay University and then achieved higher status for itself to become B.J. Medical College, providing diplomas for L.C.P.S.In 1951. B.J. Medical College is a medical college situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat India. Dr. Pranay K. Shah is the current dean of B.J. Medical College. BJMC is affiliated to Gujarat University and Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. The college has a modern library with around 500-600 students capacity.  Admissions in college are offered strictly based on entrance marks in NEET for UG and PG courses.
