BDS Admission 2024-Course, Syllabus, Top Colleges, Criteria for getting admission to BDS
Do you want to be a doctor? Apart from MBBS, there is one more option to become a doctor: BDS or a bachelor of dental surgery. Are you searching for making your carrier in dentistry but don’t have full knowledge? Then you are reading the right article. Because here we are going to tell you everything about BDS.
After 10+2 class (12th class) or intermediate, we are generally worried about our carrier. However, there is a big list, which includes so many career options to choose from that. If you had PCB (Physics, chemistry and biology) in Intermediate, BDS or Bachelor of Dental Surgery is the best option. This is one of the most chosen fields of study. As we know that it’s the question of our future, our whole future depends on our decision only. We should choose according to our choice of subject. If we have biology in intermediate, BDS is the best option.
When it comes to choosing a graduation degree in Science (especially biology), BDS is the most common option selected by the students. BDS is a 5 years undergraduate program, including 4 years of education and 1 year of internship. BDS is a job or business-oriented course. It means we can also do a job as a doctor and open our clinic. We have both options. BDS is said to be the best option for students who have a strong interest and background in Science and biology for science students. After the completion of a BDS degree, candidates become qualified doctors. BDS courses after 12th Science can be the perfect course to kick-start your career.
This BDS degree is provided by the Dental Council of India (DCI). The main BDS subjects taught in the program include Dental Histology, Oral Surgery, etc.
