BHU PET Exam: It is University Level Post Graduation Entrance Exam conducted by Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The course is conducted under BHU PET 2024 and is divided into categories such as ‘General’, ‘Professional’, ‘Special’, and ‘Vocational Courses. This year, BHU PET Exam 2024 will be held from May  2024 (tentatively) in offline mode.

BHU (Banaras Hindu university) conduct a university level Entrance Exam as Under-Graduate Entrance Test (UET) and Post-Graduate Entrance Test (PET) every year. The BHU PET entrance exam was offered in three formats: online, hybrid (tablet), and offline. By entering their application number and date of birth, candidates can obtain their BHU PET admission card.

Eligibility Criteria for BHU PET Exam 2024:

The minimum eligibility requirement for BHU PET Exam 2024 is a Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.

• There is no age limit for the applicants to fill the application form.
• Applicants filing the form must be citizens of  Indian National.
• Candidates seeking admission for the M.A course in Language must have studied the Language at B.A. level and should provide it in the final mark sheet.
• There are no minimum eligibility marks applicable for SC/ST candidates.
• A minimum of 45% marks is required in the Degree examination, for OBC and Physically Challenged category

BHU PET 2024 Application Form:

1. Visit the official BHU website
2. Click on “BHU PET 2024 Application Form”.
3. Choose an easy-to-remember password and click submit.
4. Click on “Online Application Form”
5. Fill in all the details in the application form.
6. Upload a recent scanned Photograph and Signature.
7. Choose five Exam Centers from the drop-down menu.
8. Proceed to Pay the Application fees online.
9. The application form will be available for download after payment of fees.
10. Take a printout of the form for further references, if needed.

BHU PET 2024 Admit card is available on BHU Entrance Test Portal bhuonline.in. Here are steps to download the admit card:

1. Visit BHU Entrance Portal and Click on “Download Admit Card”
2. Login using Unique Registration ID and password
3. Save the Admit card
4. Take a print out and affix a passport size photograph in the provided space.

BHU PET Answer Keys 2024

BHU will release the provisional answer keys of BHU PET 2024 on its official website i.e. bhuonline.in. Candidates can calculate their score before the release of the actual result using BHU PET 2024 Answer Keys.

BHU PET 2024 Result

BHU PET 2024 Result will be announced online. The result will be available only on  BHU Portal and will not be sent by post. Sectional marks, overall marks and rank obtained by the applicants will be mentioned on the result.

• Step 3: Insert your Roll Number and search.

BHU PET 2024 Counseling

BHU PET 2024 Counseling will be started in November 2024. The counseling session is conducted through Banaras Hindu University and those applicants who are selected on the merit list will get a call letter to attend the counseling session.

There will be the procedure of Online Preference Entry in which applicants have to select their choice course, location, and seat type.

Candidates must have to carry the required documents for verification and make the payment of the admission fee after confirming the admission.

BHU PET 2024 Selection Process

The process of a candidate’s selection through BHU PET is given below:

• You need to clear the BHU PET examination, which is by achieving higher marks than the allocated cut off marks. The candidates are advised to chalk out their preparation plan for this test accordingly.
• Different postgraduate programs will have different cut off marks.
• The merit list is used to decide the students qualifying for the postgraduate course seats.
