  • Students have to download the admission form and fill the educational and personal details.
  • Students also have to upload scanned copies of documents required for application.

Group A
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology M.Phil (Medical & Social Psychology/ Clinical Psychology) from any recognized University.
M.Phil in Cl. Psychology M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology regular course of a recognized University with minimum 55% marks for UR and 50% marks for SC, ST & OBC in the aggregate.
Group B
M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work M.A. in Sociology or Master in Social Work regular course of a recognized University with minimum 55% marks for UR and 50% marks for SC, ST, and OBC in the aggregate.
Group C
Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing ‘A’ Grade Certificate or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.

CIP Ranchi Scholarships

Scholarships offered here are:

  • Central Institute of Psychiatry offers scholarships to meritorious students in the form of waiver or stipend as made valid by the institution from time to time.
  • Students from Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, M Phil. in Clinical Psychology and M Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work will get a scholarship of INR 25,000/- per month.
  • Students of Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing will get a scholarship of INR 2,500/- per month.

Guidelines For Central Institute of Psychiatry Ranchi Admit Card 2024

  • Applicant must carry the hard copy (Print out ) of the Admit Card in the exam hall every day during the examination.
  • Applicant should read the instructions that are printed on the admit card carefully and he/she gets to the exam hall in time.
  • Applicants have to carry their color passport size photograph with admit card.
  • The details (Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Address, etc) that are given on the CIP Ranchi Admit Card must match with your identity proof.
