UG Course Details with Eligibility Criteria

LLB (Hons)
Eligibility Criteria :A candidate must have secured not less than 45% of marks (40% for Reserved Candidates) in his/ her undergraduate programme

BCA

Eligibility Criteria :Candidates should have passed 2-year PUC or equivalent examination in Science, Arts or Commerce stream securing a minimum of 35% of marks
Or passed JODC/ 3-year Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 35 percent of marks in aggregate

B.Com (Hons), B.Sc, B.Com
Eligibility Criteria :Applicants need to have 45% (40% for reserved category) in the Pre-University/ Higher Secondary/ 10+2 examination from any recognized board

BA
Eligibility Criteria :Candidates should have passed the 2nd PUC/ 12th grade or equivalent examination recognized by the Central/ State Govt with 50 percent aggregate marks (45% in case of reserved category)

BBA
Eligibility Criteria :The candidate shall have passed Pre- University/ Higher Secondary/ 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category)

B.Arch

Eligibility Criteria : Candidates should have passed 2nd PUC/ 12th standard or equivalent examination recognized by the Central/ State government with 50% aggregate marks, (45 percent for SC/ ST/ OBC). Mathematics must have been a compulsory subject of study at the 12th level
The candidate should have passed the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by NIASA (National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture), an academic unit of Council of Architecture, New Delhi
Candidates currently appearing for the 12 or 10+2 grade final examination are also eligible to apply for the said program, however, to secure an admission it is mandatory to have passed the examination

B.Tech
Eligibility Criteria : Applicants interested in this course need to pass Pre-University/ Higher Secondary/ 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject
A minimum of 45% marks (40% for Reserved Category) is required in the above subjects taken together
Also, they must appear for JEE Main/ JEE (Advanced)/ Karnataka CET/ COMED-K/ CMRUAT 2020 any other State-level Engineering Entrance Examination
For admission in the Lateral Entry, the candidate should have a Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 50% aggregate for Open Category and 45% for Reserved Categories

PG Course Details with Eligibility Criteria

M.Tech

Eligibility Criteria : The candidate shall have passed BE/ B.Tech or equivalent examination with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ SEBC Candidates)
Admission is as per GATE or NET score

MBA
Eligibility Criteria: In order to get admission in CMR University, the candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 45% marks for General Category and 40% marks for SC/ ST Category
The candidate should appear and qualify in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ PGCET or any other National Level Management Aptitude Tests

M.Com
Eligibility Criteria: A candidate who has passed B.Com/ BBM/ BBA Degree examination or any other degree equivalent thereto of any recognized university and has secured not less than 50% of marks shall be eligible for admission to the course (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PH students)

MA
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Bachelor degree examination in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PH students) with Journalism as one of the optional subjects

M.Sc
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Bachelor degree examination in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PH students)

MSW
Eligibility Criteria: A candidate who has passed any degree examination from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks is eligible for admission to the programme (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PH students)

LL.M
Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should have completed LL.B (In any discipline) 3 Years LLB Degree/ 5 Years Integrated Dual- Degree in Law, from any Indian or Foreign University, recognized by UGC, having obtained at least 50% of marks in aggregate (45% in the case of SC/ ST Candidates)

PhD Courses

• For PhD admission, candidates need to have a valid score in the entrance exam conducted by the University. Those with a valid score in SET/SLET, GATE, CSIR NET or UGC NET exam or have an MPhil degree, however, are exempted from the University-level entrance exam.
• CMR University admits PhD candidates twice a year in the months of January and July. However, applications are invited throughout the year.

• Step 1: Candidates will first need to register online on the website with a valid e-mail id and a mobile number, after which they will get a login ID and password.
• Step 2: Log in to your account using login ID and password. Candidate will receive their application number on their registered email address. Enter all the personal/academic details required in the application form.
• Step 3: Candidate will have to pay an application fee. The payment can be made online (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking).
• Step 4: Upload the passport size photograph and signature with size less than 80 kb in ‘.jpg’ format.
• Step 5: Select the date preferences for the test among the 4 options given.
• Step 6: Submit the Application form.
• Step 7: Take a print out of the same for future reference.
