Ph.D.
A master’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university will be required to admit candidates to Ph.D. programme
M.Sc
Candidates must have a graduate degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university
B.Sc (Hons.)
Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Physical Sciences or Biological or Natural Science from a recognized board
Marks in AP EAMCET/ AIEEA/ HORTICET

The admission details of courses offered by Dr.Y.S.R Horticultural University are:
- The selection of the candidates in BSc (Horticulture) will be on the basis of AP EAMCET/ AIEEA (for 15% seats)/ HORTICET (for 15% seats for Diploma holders)
- In case of admission through AP EAMCET, the candidates have to secure minimum 25% aggregate in AP EAMCET while there is no minimum criteria for reserve categories
- HORTICET is a two-hour entrance which consists of 200 multiple choice questions
