DU B.Ed is a two-year full-time programme. During the B.Ed Programme, Candidates will not be allowed to pursue two-degree courses simultaneously either from the University of Delhi or from other University except the part-time diplomas/certificates of the University of Delhi. DU B.Ed Entrance Exam is conducted by DU itself for candidates who want to take admission in a two year course of Bachelor in Education. During the course, candidates will not be allowed to pursue any other full time degree course simultaneously. Enrolment will be granted to the candidates selected on the basis of their performance in an entrance exam. The online application form will be released tentatively in the month of May 2024. DU CIE B.Ed 2024 Application Form

The details regarding the application form are given below:

DU B.Ed. Results 2024

A merit list of all candidates will be displayed on the website of the University. Merit list is totally based on the performance of the particular candidate in the entrance test and depending on the rank of that merit list the respective category of the candidate, subject availability, availability of seats, and preference of institutes will be allocated to different institutions. The merit list released by the University will also include SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ CW candidates.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR B.ED. PROGRAMME – 

Candidates with at least 50% either in Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities/Commerce, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with  specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent  thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.

DU B.Ed Admission 2024

• Based on the merit of the candidates, their preference of institutions and on availability of seats, seats will be allotted.
• The candidates shortlisted for the admission must be present at the stipulated date and time along with their important documents.
• Details regarding the schedule and venue for the admission will be communicated to the candidates through the university’s website.
• Documents and eligibility of the candidates will be verified after which they will be offered final admission.

DU B.Ed 2024 Counseling

• Candidates will be called for counseling the process in the Central Institute of Education based on rank fixed to the merit list. DU B.Ed counseling will start following the declaration of result in July 2024.
• The name of selected applicants on the merit list does not indicate the final choice for admission.
• The general merit list will comprise candidates of all categories in the order of merit. No one will be excluded from the same. In other words, it will also include SC/ ST/ OBC candidates if they come in overall merit.
