Fergusson University, formerly known as Fergusson College is an autonomous public college offering various courses in the streams of arts and science in the city of Pune, India. It was founded in 1885 by the Deccan Education Society. Professor Vaman Shivram Apte was its first principal. Fergusson College is an autonomous college affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Fergusson College offers various UG, PG and doctoral courses under Arts and Science streams such as BA, BSc, BVoc, MA, MSc and PhD. Fergusson College admission process is completely online. Candidates must apply via the official website of the institute for the desired courses. Admission to all the UG programmes is based on academic scores in the qualifying exam. Selection Criteria By Entrance Exam

Exam Pattern:

• Duration of test – 1 hr
• Marks for entrance test – 50
• Number of questions – 50
• No negative marks
• Result of entrance test will be displayed within 2 days after the entrance exam.
• Merit list for the admissions will be prepared on the basis of Entrance Test result ONLY for all candidates.
• After the selection of the candidate for admissions during the counseling, he/she needs to submit INR. 5000/- in Cash or through Demand Draft.
