The Film and Television Institute of India is an autonomous civil service training institute for Indian Information Service cadre under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India and aided by the Central Government of India. The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) was set up by the Government of India in 1960, in the premises of the erstwhile Prabhat Studios in Pune. The FTII Campus currently stands on the grounds of the erstwhile Prabhat Studio. Prabhat Studio was a pioneer in the business of filmmaking and shifted to Pune from Kolhapur in 1933. It is a national level examination which will be organized by the FTII. The exam is conducted for admission in the Post Graduate Diploma & some Post Graduate certificate course. Programs: PG Diploma in Direction & Screenplay Writing/ Cinematography/ Editing
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must possess the Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
Programs:3 year PG Diploma in Sound recording & Sound Design
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must possess the Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Physics as a subject at 10+2 standard
Programs:3 year PG Diploma in Art Direction & Production Design
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate have the Bachelor’s Degree in applied arts, architecture, painting, sculpture, interior design or related fields in fine arts or equivalent qualification
Programs: PG Certificate Course in TV Direction/ Cinematography/Video Editing

FTII JET 2024 Exam Pattern
Candidates must go through following details regarding FTII JET Exam Pattern:
- Exam mode: The examination will be organized through offline mode.
- Questions Type: MCQ) & descriptive type questions
- Exam Duration: 3 hours
- No. of questions: 30 MCQ’s & 70 descriptive type questions.
- Maximum marks: 100 questions will be asked in the examination.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will consist of 1 mark.
