Govind Guru Tribal University, formerly Rajiv Gandhi Tribal University. is a state university located at Banswara, Rajasthan, India. It was established in 2012, and renamed in 2016. The university is primarily for higher education, research, innovations, and development. It also aims at creating new knowledge, sharpening vocational skills, and developing appropriate attitudes among the promising young generation for the reconstruction of the society based on the highly cherished ideals of the functional democracy.

GGTU (Govind Guru Tribal University) 2024 – Paper Pattern
- Mode of Exam: The RET (Research Eligibility Test) will be conducted through the offline mode (OMR) sheet.
- Language of Exam: English and Hindi language.
- Type of questions: only MCQ type questions for the applicants to answer.
- Number of Questions: paper will have 50 questions to be answered by the applicants in each paper.
- Duration of Exam: T 60 minutes (1 hour) to solve each paper and in total, they will have 2 hours (120 minutes) to solve both the papers.
- Total Marks: two papers and each paper will be for 100 marks which means that if combined then the total marks will be 200 marks
- Marking Scheme: 2 marks for each correct answer that they mark.
- Negative Marking: no negative marking done for the RET (Research Eligibility Test)
- Sections: The RET (Research Eligibility Test) will have two papers to be solved by the applicants as mentioned below.
- Paper 1 – General nature of Teaching and Research Aptitude
- Paper 2 – Based on the subject nominated by the applicant.
Important Note: If in case the applicant fails to appear for the 1st Paper he/ she will not be permitted to appear for the 2nd paper as well.
Application Procedure for GGTU Admission
- Visit the official site of the University.
- Go to the admission section.
- Download the application form.
- Select your desired course and fill in the required details in the form.
- Pay Rs. 100 as application fee through DD or NEFT.
- Attach the money receipt and all the required documents with the form.
- Submit the same at the university office.
Eligibility Criteria
MBA: Graduation with 50% in any discipline
M.Sc.(Mathematics): B.Sc./ B.A in Mathematics
L.L.M.: Bachelor degree in Law (LLB) with 50%
Ph.D.: Master’s degree in any discipline
