GAT stands for the Gitam Admission Test, a university-level examination conducted for candidates who want to be admitted into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM). Steps to Apply for GITAM GAT 2024 application form:

• Visit the official website of GITAM i.e, https://apply.gitam.edu
• First, complete the registration process by submitting details like name, email address, residential status, phone number, state, city.
• After that candidates get the confirmation email, using which, verify email id.
• Then login with the login details you get in the email.
• Now fill the GITAM GAT 2024 Application Form.
• Then uploading the Documents (scanned signature & photograph).
• finally, pay the required application fee of GITAM GAT 2024.

GITAM Entrance Exam Eligibility

Let’s have a look on the basic eligibility criteria of various UG & PG courses of GITAM GAT Exam:

For B.Tech/B.Tech (Biotechnology)/B. Pharmacy/B. Arch:

• Qualifying Exam: GITAM GAT Exam requires a candidate who have passed 12^th or equivalent exam in examination year or a previous year from any recognized board.
• Subjects: The candidates who are willing to take admission in B.Tech & B. Arch should qualify the intermediate with PCM subjects.

For B.Tech (Biotechnology) & B. Pharmacy program of GITAM GAT Exam, students must pass the 10+2 with Mathematics/Biology, Physics & Chemistry subjects

• Aggregate: For GITAM GAT Exam a students must have secured min. 60% marks (For B.Tech & B.Tech (Biotechnology) & 50% marks (For B. Arch & B.Pharmacy).
• For B. Arch admission through GITAM GAT Exam, a student must qualify in NATA/JEE (Main) examination.

For M. Pharmacy:

• Qualifying Exam: To appear in the GITAM GAT Exam, an applicant must complete B. Pharma from a recognized university.
• Minimum Marks: Minimum 50% are required in B. Pharma in GITAM GAT Exam for M. Pharmacy.

For M. Tech:

• Qualification: GITAM GAT Exam must require the degree of BE/ B.Tech./AMIE in the relevant area of engineering for M. Tech.
• Percentage Criteria: To appear in the GITAM GAT Exam of M. Tech, a candidate must have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

Exam Pattern:

• The test will be held online.
• The duration of the test is 2 hours.
• The test consists of three sections and all questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions).
• Each question has four options of which one is correct.
• Each correct answer will be awarded 2 marks. The wrong answer and unanswered questions will receive nil marks.

Steps to Download GITAM GAT Admit Card

The step-by-step process for downloading GITAM GAT 2024 admit card is given below.

• Step 1: Log on to the official website of GITAM University.
• Step 2: Go to the login page.
• Step 3: Enter the application number/email ID and date of birth.
• Step 4: Click on ‘Login’.
• Step 5: Admit card will appear in a separate window. Download it and print out 2 copies of it

GITAM GAT PGT 2024 Slot Booking

• GITAM will open the window for GITAM GAT PGT Slot Booking. Candidates are advised to must choose a date and slot of their choice by using the GAT-2024 online booking system.
• Must submit the information of application number, gender and date of birth while logging into the online booking system.
• Candidates are required to book their slots using the online slot booking system from 05 to 07 April 2024. If any candidate does not book his / her slot on or before April 2024, the system will automatically generate a date and time to appear for the examination.
• Please note that the online booking system will not allow the candidate to book his/ her slot after 07 April 2024.

GITAM GAT 2024 Result

The GITAM GAT 2024 result will be announced by the exam conducting authority through the online mode. The result will be uploaded at the official website. Candidates can check the same using their login credentials.

• On the login window, enter the application number and mobile number
• The result/rank card will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take printouts of the result

GITAM GAT 2024 Counselling

After the result is announced, qualified candidates are required to participate in the counselling process. A counselling fee of ₹ 1000/- is to be paid in cash. Candidates will be provided with call letters to participate in the counselling process. In the counselling process, candidates have to undergo document verification and complete the admission formalities. Documents to be carried out for the counselling process are:

• 10th class or equivalent passing certificate
• 10+2/ Intermediate marks statement and pass certificate
• Transfer Certificate
• Conduct Certificate
• Medical Certificate from Civil Surgeon (in case of PH Candidates)
• Reserved Category (in case of SC/ST)
