The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is an annual all‑India examination conducted by National Testing Agency on computer based test mode only, to evaluate candidates for admission of Pharmacy graduates into the Masters programmes. Until 2018, it was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Earlier, GPAT is conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). GPAT Application Form 2024
Candidates can fill GPAT 2024 Application Form via online mode only. Applications sent via post or email will not be accepted under any circumstances. Major steps involved in GPAT Registration:
- Step 1: GPAT Registration – Self Registration i.e. register for Online Application Form and note down system generated Application Number. Enter all the required details, Set Password, and create login credentials.
- Step 2: Fill and Complete GPAT Application Form 2024 – Login with the system-generated User ID and Password. Enter your Personal, Academic, and other details.
- Step 3: Uploading of Scanned Documents Scanned – Scan your Photo and Signature as per the defined standards. Failing to do the same will result in the cancellation of candidature. Check Now
- Step 4: Payment of online Application Fees – Pay Examination Fee by SBI MOPS, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or e-Challan). The fee varies as per the candidate’s category.
Candidates will be required to pay the application fee as according to the steps given below:
- The application fee for the general and OBC category will be Rs. 1400.
- The application fee for the SC/ST/PwD and female candidates will be Rs. 700/-.
- The application fee can be paid through Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking.
- Candidates can pay the application fee through the SBI bank challan as well which will be downloaded while accessing the GPAT application form.
GPAT 2024 Answer Key
Answer Key has been released by the National Testing Agency after few weeks from the completion of examination. Candidates are able to check their answer Key from May 2024 through online mode only.
Answer key will be released in two phases. Authority has released the provisional answer key in first phase with the objection facility. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key by paying the prescribed amount. After the completion of objection facility, authority will release the final Answer key in second phase.
GPAT Score 2024
The GPAT result will be based on the final answer keys released by NTA. The Agency will not dispatch any score card to the candidates. Hence, candidates are advised to download the GPAT score card 2024 from the official website. There is no provision for re-valuation/re-checking of the GPAT score.
GPAT 2024 Exam Pattern:
Here we are mentioning the GPAT 2024 Exam Pattern. this may help the candidates to understand the exact GPAT 2024 Exam Pattern and help them to secure good marks.
- Mode of Exam: The examination is going to be conducted through the online mode.
- Language: The exam paper is going to be within English.
- Types of Questions: The questions are going to be asked within the Multiple Choice of Question Format (MCQs).
- Total Questions: The paper will contain a complete of 125 Questions.
- Duration of the Examination: The examination is going to be of three Hours (180 Minutes).
- Total Marks: The paper is going to be of a complete of 500 Marks.
- Marking Scheme: For every Correct answer, +4 Marks are going to be awarded.
- Negative Marking: For each wrong answer, the -1 mark is going to be deducted.
Eligibility Criteria for GPAT 2024
Candidates are requested to check out the complete GPAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria, and later on, they can fill the GPAT Application Form.
- The candidates should have the citizenship of India.
- The candidates must have a degree of 4 years Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy after 12th
- The candidates appearing can also apply for the B. Pharm course and they will be eligible to apply for GPAT 2024.
- There will be no age limit for GPAT 2024.
- The candidates having a degree of B. Tech or any Engineering degree, cannot apply for the GPAT because they are not eligible for GPAT Examination.
How to check GPAT Result
Step 1: Visit the official website – gpat.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the result link on the homepage
Step 3: On the new page, click on download scorecard
Step 4: Enter credentials and click on submit
Step 5: Access the admit card and take a print out for future reference
Admit Card:
As soon as the application process gets over, registered candidates will catch the GPAT 2024 Admit Card via online mode. Download the admit card by using the date of birth and registration number. Collect admit card in January. This card comprises the details like roll number, exam venue, exam center address, candidate’s name, exam date and time, instructions for the exam day, etc. In addition to carrying admit card, also carry valid photo ID proof for identity verification.
GPAT Preparation Tips
- Candidates should go through the complete official syllabus.
- Go through previous year question papers to know the exam pattern and marking scheme.
- Make short notes on daily basis and revise them regularly.
- Take online or offline mock tests.
- Eat healthy food and take proper sleep.
GPAT 2024 Counselling
- Candidates will be called for counseling on the basis of the merit list.
- Details like the roll number of candidates, category, rank, total score, and qualified/non-qualified status will be in the Merit List.
- Counseling of candidates will be conducted individually by the various NTA-approved institutions.
- On the basis of scores that candidates have obtained in the entrance examination, the allotment of seats will be done.
