Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda is located in Gujarat Ayurved University campus, Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. It has been declared as an institute of national importance dedicated to Ayurvedic studies and research. Looking to the growing popularity of Ayurveda in foreign Countries the University has taken responsibility to work as a nodal agency for propagation of Ayurveda, globally. The University has designed courses in Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences, Ayurvedic Medicinal Plant Sciences and Yoga & Naturopathy.
Gujarat Ayurved University Application Process
- Candidates have to download the form online from the official website of the institute,
- Fill it up and send it to the Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar before the deadline, along with the demand draft of INR 1000.
- Candidates are required to send 3 recent coloured passport size photograph in the size of (3.5×4.5cm).
- Candidates should send the duly filled in application form to the “Director, Admission Department, Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar 361008, Gujarat, India.”
- Along with this candidate will also have to apply for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.

Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc: Candidate must have passed 10+2 with science stream
BAMS: Candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCB stream
BNYS: Candidate must have completed 10+2 and must have taken biology as one of the subject
B.Pharm: Passed 10+2 with Science stream
Master of Pharmacy: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate branch or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
Master of Science: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate branch or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
PhD: Candidates must have Master’s degree in the relevant subject(s) with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA
