The Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board came into existence on 15th day of July,1986 under the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Act, 1986 (Act No.14 of 1986). H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board has postponed the exam dates for the HP PAT 2024. HP PAT 2024 is an entrance exam conducted by H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board. The Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test revised date will be announced later. It is conducted every year by the Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Board (HPTEB), Dharamshala. HP Polytechnic 2024 Application form

Exam Pattern of HP PAT 2024
- The duration of the exam will be 3 hours
- The test will be conducted in the offline (OMR-based) mode. Responses have to be entered using a blue or black pen.
- Objective type questions carrying 4 marks each will be asked. Incorrect attempt carries a penalty of 1 mark
- The paper will be set in both Hindi and English languages.

Steps to View and Download HP PAT 2024 Admit Card
Candidates will have to follow certain steps in order to download HP PAT 2024 admit card.
- Applicants will have to visit the official site of HP PAT 2024.
- Candidates will have to log in with the password and user id.
- Feed-in the required details in the tab.
- After logging in a small detailed page would be displayed which includes all details about the applicant.
- Then the admit card of HP PAT 2024 is displayed on the screen.

HP PAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: The student must have passed 10th Standard from any Recognised Board.
- Percentage: The Student must have a minimum of 35% marks in the Qualifying examination.
- Domicile: The students must be the Domicile of the Himachal Pradesh State.
- Mandatory Subjects: The students must have passed 10th with Chemistry, Physics, and MathematicsandEnglish as the mandatory Subjects.
- Appearing: The students appearing in the qualifying examination in the same year of the exam are also eligible for the entrance test.
HP PAT Counselling 2024
- Successful candidates getting their names in the merit list will be allowed to take part in the counselling process.
- During the counselling, the candidates have to choose their diploma course and college as per their preference.
- Seats will be allotted based on the aspirant’s marks.
- To get the documents verified and confirm the admission, the candidates have to visit the allotted college.
