University of Hyderabad PhD Admission Dates 2024

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be passed their qualifying examinations from Universities following the letter grading system / CGPA. Will be determined based on a percentage equivalent to the letter grade/ CGPA obtained by the candidates according to the conversion formula adopted by the University concerned.
- With at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Master’s degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics AND JRF (UGC/ CSIR/ICMR)
- The decision of the University shall be final and binding on the candidates in the absence of any such formula.
- Before the last date of the application form, Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying degree examination and expecting their results and certificates apply for admission.

Apart from the UG and PG courses, the University offers a PhD programme in over 40 specialisations. Admission to the programme is based on a valid score in UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ University Entrance Exam. However, shortlisted students need to appear for an Interview Round for the final selection. General Instruction
- Entrance Examination for the January 2024 session will be conducted in the University of Hyderabad campus only
- Hall Tickets for the entrance exam can be downloaded from the website. List of applicants who will get shortlisted for the interview and list of selected/ wait-listed candidates will be published in the website accordingly.
- Applicants need to check the University website for downloading the Hall Tickets, results and the relevant formats required for admission. No personal communication will be made to students in this regard.
