Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has begun registration for July session 2024 programs like BA, MA, and BEd. Students have until September , to register for the courses of their choice by going to the website @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The educational criteria for IGNOU eligibility for all UG courses like BA/BCom/BSc demand that students should have completed 10th and 12th classes from a university that is recognized by the UGC. This is a requirement for enrolling in any of the UG programs offered by IGNOU. Additionally, students should have a grade point average of at least 55% in their 12th class. 

Dear students admissions to courses such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc., BCA, BBA, BSW, BAVTM, etc will be based on merit that which will be scores and obtained in 10+2 or its equivalent. IGNOU Application Process 2024

Steps for Online Registration:

• Step 1: Before registration, you need  to check the details including eligibility criteria, fee details, duration, etc.  from the “Online Admission System” portal 
• Step 2: Ahead verifying the essential information, press on the “Register Yourself” button and fill the required registration details.
• User Name entered must reside in between 8 to 16 characters.
• Password entered must consist of both alpha and numeric and between 8 to 16 characters.
• Step 3: Upon filling the mandatory information, press on to the “SUBMIT” button..
• Note: Already registered/ existing users must press on to”Login” button and enter their username along with the password to go any further.
• Step 4: Ahead registering through the “Login” button, enter personal details, program details, qualification details, course details, and correspondence details.

IGNOU Entrance 2024 Eligibility

B.Ed. Programme:
Qualification: Candidates should have bachelor’s degree in engineering/ any other stream or master’s degree from a recognized institute.
Marks Criteria: Candidates must obtain minimum 50% marks in their qualifying bachelor’s or master’s degree.

MBA Programme:
Qualification: Candidates must have bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized board.
Age Criteria: There is no age limit criteria.
Marks Criteria: Candidates should have passed their graduation level with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates).

For BBA. Course:
Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 level or equivalent examination with science subject from any recognized board.

For B.Sc. Course:
Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 level or equivalent examination with science subject from any recognized board.

For BCA Course:
Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10th and 12th class examination from any recognized board.

M.Tech Programme:
Qualification: Candidates must have bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology from any recognized institute/ university.
Marks Criteria: Candidates should have passed their qualifying degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks.

MCA Programme:

Ignoun Bsc Nursing

• The applicant must have completed his/ her class 12th (higher secondary) education from a school that comes under a recognised board.
• The applicants who have completed 10 + 1 are also considered eligible to apply for the course.
• The student must belong to the science stream (in class 12th) with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

IGNOU MBA Admission 2024:

The School of Management Studies at IGNOU is home to the institution’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. A minimum of two and a half years is required to complete the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, which can be completed in one of two specializations: MBA General or MBA in Banking and Finance. In addition to the Master of Business Administration program, IGNOU provides a number of postgraduate diploma programs that are related to management. In order to be considered for admission, candidates are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in any field with a grade point average of at least 50%. The candidate’s overall performance on the qualifying exam will be taken into consideration when deciding whether or not to grant admission to the MBA program. In the current academic year, IGNOU will not be conducting the entrance exam for the MBA program.

IGNOU B.Ed Application Form:

In order to be considered for admission, the candidate will need to hand in a properly filled-out application form as well as copies of papers that have been self-attested, as required by the Entrance-cum-Admission Form. The sole accepted form of payment for the program fee is a Demand Draft (DD) made out to “IGNOU” and payable in the city in which the Regional Center is located. Once the students have received an offer letter for admission, they should wait to submit the actual documents until a later date for verification purposes.

IGNOU M.Phil and Ph.D Admission 2024:

IGNOU not only provides undergraduate and postgraduate levels of education but also research-based programs such as masters and doctoral degrees in a variety of fields of study for students interested in furthering their education. The institution now offers Ph.D. programs in a total of 12 different subject areas and M.Phil. programs in a total of 2 areas. In order to get admission to the M.Phil. or Ph.D. program offered by the institution, prospective students who meet the prerequisites must take and pass an entrance exam. In the case of a doctorate, applicants who hold a master’s degree in philosophy or those who have passed the National Eligibility Test, or any other examination that is considered to be equivalent are exempt from having to take the entrance exam.

IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Admission 2024:

In order to enroll in Post Basic B.Sc Nursing programs at IGNOU, prospective students must meet the following criteria:

In-service Nurses, sometimes known as R.N.s, Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) with a 10+2 education, a three-year diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), and a minimum of two years of experience in the profession (after registration as RNRM).

IGNOU PG Diploma Admission 2024:

IGNOU gives students the opportunity to get a postgraduate diploma in a variety of fields, such as computer applications, analytical chemistry, hospital and health management, journalism and mass communication, and many more. The only factor taken into consideration for admission to the postgraduate diploma programs is the candidate’s overall performance in the qualifying examination.

IGNOU Certificate Programs Admission 2024:

In the fields of Engineering, Management, Banking, etc., IGNOU provides a total of 78 certificate programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The merit that one achieves in the qualifying examination is the only factor that is taken into consideration for determining admission to the IGNOU Certificate programs.

Candidates must hold a relevant qualification in order to be considered for admission to any of these programs, which may include a graduate degree in engineering or an engineering diploma, as well as a graduate degree in science, commerce, or the arts.

In order to be eligible for participation in specific certificate programs, applicants are required to have a specified amount of relevant work experience, which must be at least two years long.

IGNOU OPENNET 2024 Exam Pattern

• The Mode of Examination will be LAN Based CBT (Computer Based Test).
• The duration of the exam will be Two (02) Hours.
• There will be Multiple Choice Questions asked in the exam.
• The Maximum Marks will be 100.
• 1 Mark for the correct response will be given.
• There will be no negative marking for an incorrect response.
• The medium of Paper will be ENGLISH and Hindi.

For IGNOU OPENMAT Exam Pattern:

• Mode of exam: The exam will be conducted through offline mode.
• Number of Sections: The number of sections will be Four – General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and Reasoning.
• Number of Questions: The total number of questions will be 200 questions.
• Total Marks: The total number of marks will be 200 marks.
• Time Duration: The total time duration for the examination will be 3 hours.
• Marking: For every correct answer 1 mark will be given. There will be no negative marking.

IGNOU 2024 Counselling

Only qualifying candidates will be called for IGNOU 2024 counselling process. The counselling will be conducted through offline mode. It will be organized at IGNOU regional centers.

Various counselling sessions will be conducted for each course. The selection will be made on the basis of released regional merit list.

Candidates have to submit admission form, IGNOU Result card, certificate of category and various other documents at the time of counselling. To confirm seat, candidates must report at the allotted institution before the given time period.

Documents required during Counselling

• Result card or scorecard
• Photograph and Identity card
• 10th class certificate in support of age.
• 12th certificates or Graduation degree whichever is applicable
• Category certificate if applicable

Admit Card

• The IGNOU admit card can be downloaded from the official website of the university.
• Candidates will have to take the admit card with them at the examination center otherwise, they will not get entry into the examination hall.
• The admit card shall have applicants’ name, date of birth and address, name, timing, and venue if the entrance examination.
• It is important to take Admit Card with you while going to the examination center.
• The candidate will not be allowed to give the exam, without the admit card.

IGNOU 2024 Result

The IGNOU 2024 Result will be released from third week of July 2024 through online mode. Candidates will be able to check the result by entering the details like roll number, date of birth, etc.

As per the performance of candidates, a merit list will be prepared. The admission are provided based on merit list created after an entrance examination. Candidates must keep the result safe till the end of admission procedure.
