IGNOU Law Admission 2024: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria
IGNOU doesn’t offer a Bachelor of Legislative Law degree to students. Bachelor of Legislative Law is an Undergraduate law program of three years or five years that can be pursued after graduation. Law plays a vital role in our society as it distinguishes between right and wrong. Additionally, it is very useful to solve conflicts. Intending to strengthen knowledge related to law, IGNOU Law Course but does not offer 3-year LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB or LLM programmes . Law Course is not able to offer in Distance education or Online mode in India..
The last date for admission in the Ignou Law programs such as DIPP, CAHT, CCP, PGDIPR, PGDCJ, PGCC is extended till September 2024. Interested and eligible applicants may enroll for admission as soon as possible in the January 2024 session. Applicants may complete the online application form for Law programs by vising the official admission portal of the University
Online Procedure:

The student must visit the official website of IGNOU.

Just below the title bar comes a drop-down menu named ‘Register Online’.

The student must click on the ‘Fresh Registration’ option which will take the student to the admission subpage.

The student must select the ‘Register Yourself’ option and fill up the credentials like Name, Date of Birth, Gender, E-mail id, and Mobile number.

The candidate then has to make a unique user ID and set a password.

After the account creation, the student needs to click on log in and enter the user name and password just created.

The candidate will next fill up the information and details like personal details, programme details, qualifications, and course details.

The candidates will have to upload the documents required for applying for IGNOU Law Admission.

After submitting the form, students will be redirected to the payment gateway where they will have to submit the application fees.
PG and Advance Diploma
Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR)
Course duration – One year (maximum duration – three years)
Eligibility – The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline.
Post Graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice (PGDCJ)
Course duration – One year (Maximum duration – Three years)
Eligibility – Graduation in any discipline.
IGNOU Law Programmes – PG and Advance Certificate
Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Law (PGCCL)
Course duration – Six months (maximum duration – two years)
Eligibility – The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline. Also, candidates who are 4th and 5th-year students of the Five-year integrated LL.B course and who have passed three years may also apply for PG Certificate in Cyber Law.
Course fees – Rs. 8.400

Post-Graduate Certificate in Patent Practice (PGCPP)
Course duration – 6 months (maximum duration – two years)
Eligibility criteria

The candidates should have a degree in Science/Technology/Medicine.

Candidates appearing in the 4th or 5th year of the five-year integrated LL B Course who passed three years are also eligible to apply for a Post-Graduate Certificate in Patent Practice.
IGNOU Law Diploma in Paralegal Practice
Course duration – One year (maximum – 3 years).
Eligibility criteria
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent of IGNOU is Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme.
