• Applicant must have passed 10+2 with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of two-year experience in the profession. or
• In service Nurse having 10th class (Matriculation) or it’s corresponding with 3 years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of 5-year experience in the profession.
• The age limit is not a block for admission to the course.

• The application form can be obtained either from the Regional Centre of IGNOU in person or by post or can be downloaded from the official website of IGNOU.
• If the application form is downloaded online, a demand draft of Rs. 1050/- drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi should be sent along with the application form.
• While filling the application form candidates must ensure to fill the RC code/ PSC code of only those regional centres where PSCs (Program Study Centres) for Post Basic Nursing are activated.
