IIT  Admission Kanpur  Process 2023

• Admission to BTech will be offered on the basis of candidate’s JEE Advanced rank followed by JoSAA counselling
• To be eligible for the MSc programme, you need to qualify IIT JAM
• To secure admission to MBA, you should have a valid CAT score
• IIT MTech admission will be based on GATE score and MDes admission is based on CEED scores. 
• IIT also conducts its own written test and/or interview for selection in these courses
• GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET/ ICAR or ICMR score holders or DST-Inspire scholarship holders are eligible to apply to IIT  PhD programme

Students should have secured at least 75 per cent aggregate (65 per cent for SC/ST) in Class 12 from a recognised board of education.  Students in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 are also eligible to apply. Specialisations offered in IIT  UG programmes are listed below:

• You may apply online through the official application portal of the college. 
• Students need to register through the official website of Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). 
• Visit the official website of IIT 
• On the main home page you need to select the desired course and click on “Apply Online” tab
• Register as a new user by filling the required details
• Students need to Log in with your credentials 
• Enter accurate information in form
• Enter academic qualifications
• Pay fee and submit the  form on or before the end date and at the end take print out form
