Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune is an autonomous public research university established in 2006. It is one of the seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research, and was one of the first IISERs to be established along with IISER Kolkata. It is located in the city of Pune, India. The college encourage students to actively participate in the co-curricular and extracurricular activities organized throughout the year. IISER PHD Pune

IISER Pune offers integrated PhD (i-PhD) as a research programme with a blend of course work (2 years) and research projects to students who have completed a Bachelors’ degree in any branch of science. On successful completion, students will be awarded both a Masters of Science and a PhD degree.

Application Fee:

• Candidates will be able to submit the application fee via online mode.
• The mode of payment includes credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Application Procedure for PHD Program:

• Only online applications will be accepted. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• The candidates must carefully fill and submit the online application form on or before the specified date.

Selection Process for PHD

IISER Admission 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates must go through following details regarding IISER Admission Exam Pattern:

• Exam Mode: online (computer-based) mode.
• Number of Questions: Each subject will consist of 15 questions.
• Total Questions: 60 questions in the question paper.
• Duration: 3 hours to complete the examination.
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be of 3 marks.
• Negative marking: 1 mark will get deduct for every wrong answer.

IISER Pune Admission Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: The student must be an Indian Citizen/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Person of Indian Origin (PIO) are eligible to apply for the entrance test.
• For JEE Advanced Channel: The candidates belonging to the General category must have to qualify for the JEE Advanced and they must have to secure the 10000 in the Common rank list (CRL).
• Students who are applying through the SCB Channel must have to appear for the IISER Aptitude Test 2023.
