IPU CET is the shortened form of the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. Candidates striving for admission to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University through IPU CET 2024 will be admitted either through National Level Test conducted or through Common Entrance Tests (CET) conducted by the University or on the merit of the qualifying degrees. There shall be no CET for admissions to BTech/BA LLB/BBA LLB/LLM & BArch programme.

IPU CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

IPU CET is conducted for admission in UG and PG programs. IPU CET Eligibility Criteria for each program is different However, some basic eligibility conditions must be fulfilled before filling the Application Form.

IPU CET M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

• A B.Sc degree with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university.
• For admissions in M.Sc Environment Management, candidates must posses a pass in B.Sc. degree or an equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% or a B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc. (Engg.) in Chemical/Agricultural Engg/Civil with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

IPU CET M.A. Eligibility Criteria

• A Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
• Candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree in Economics for admissions in M.A Economics.

IPU CET B.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed their senior secondary examination with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
• For admissions in B.Sc Medical Technology and Radio Technology, candidates must have cleared their senior secondary examination with at least an aggregate of 55%

IPU CET B.A. Eligibility Criteria

• Completed senior secondary examination with an aggregeate of minimum 50% marks.
• For admissions in B.A English Hons., candidates must have studied English as a compulsory subject.
• For BA Economics, candidates must have studied Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects

IPU CET M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed B.Tech./B.E or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks
• Candidate’s age should not be more than 35 years.
• Candidates who have passed IETE/AMIE (ECE/CSE/IT/EE) will also be eligible to apply.

IPU CET BHMCT

• Candidate must have qualified class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate* of 50% marks.
  Candidates must have passed in English as well.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ Persons With Disability will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks.

IPU CET B.C.A. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 or the equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
  Candidate must have passed in English.
• Candidate must have studied and passed Mathematics or (Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application as compulsory subject.

GGSIPU CET BBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have completed his higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized university or board. The minimum marks to be obtained by the candidates must be 50%
• The age of the candidate should not be more than 21 years on August 1, 2021
• Candidates can be a citizen of India or outside of India. International candidates have to submit relevant documents related to their nationality

BTech Eligibility Criteria

• Pass in Class 12 examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The candidate should have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.
• Appeared in JEE Main Paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and admission would be based on the merit list/rank list.

BTech (Biotechnology) Eligibility Criteria

• Pass in Class 12 examination with a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/Biotechnology.
• Appeared in the IPU CET and their name should be in the merit list/rank list.
• Lateral Entry BTech (Diploma)
• Candidates should have passed three years diploma in the relevant subject with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Appeared in the IPU CET and their name should be in the merit list/rank list.

B.Ed Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 and a graduation degree with a 50% aggregate from a recognized board. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

B.A.LL.B./BB.A.LL.B. Eligibility Criteria

• The prescribed qualification is 10+2 from a recognized board by attaining 50% marks in aggregate. Also, candidates must pass English in the qualifying examination.

LL.B. Eligibility Criteria

• Graduation passed in any stream with not less than 50% marks.

M.Sc (Nursing) Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with any State Nursing Registration Council.

M.Ed Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 and a degree in B.Ed / BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed / B.El.Ed or D.El. Ed with 50% marks in aggregate. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

MAHM Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 in any subject group with a degree in UG degree in any of Humanities/ Commerce or Science. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

LL.M. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have passed LL.B. degree from a BCI-recognized institution with not less than 50% marks are eligible for this course.

PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 with a PG Degree in the related discipline. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

MPO Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 with a degree in Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics with 50% marks. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

MPH Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 with an MBBS degree and 3 years of experience in Public Health activities. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

MOT Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 with a degree in BOT with 50% marks in aggregate. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

MPT Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 with a degree in BPT (50% marks) with a mandatory internship. Or, Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy with 50% marks. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

MD Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 with an MBBS degree from a recognized university. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

MS Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 with an MBBS degree from a recognized university. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

PhD Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have an education of 10+2 with a Master’s Degree in relevant discipline. The performance of previous grades is also taken into consideration.

IPU CET 2024 Exam Center

IPU CET Exam is conducted in over 15 test cities. Candidates will be asked to select their preferred IPU CET 2024 Exam Center at the time of application form-filling.

• IPU CET 2024 test center for all courses except B. Tech, MCA, and MBA programs in Delhi only.
• IPU CET exam center once allotted cannot be get changed under any circumstances, therefore, candidates are advised to opt for the exam centers based on the order of their preference.

• Counselling Date: Registration for IPU CET 2024 is not yet released.
• Mode: IPU CET 2024 counselling will take place both online and offline mode
• Merit List: Authorities will prepare a merit list based on scores obtained by candidates in IPU CET.
• Counselling Fee: The candidate should pay INR 1000 through either online or offline mode as a counselling registration fee.
