Jadavpur University offers several courses under UG, PG & Doctoral curriculum. The courses are offered in the areas of Arts, Science, Education along with professional domains such as Architecture, Engineering, Pharmacy etc. Presently there are 2 campuses, one at Jadavpur and the other at Salt Lake and it spreads across an area of 58 acres and 26 acres respectively. The University offers 15 M.Phil. courses in different subjects through several departments and 11 Ph.D. Courses. The application forms of Jadavpur University M.Phil. and Ph.D. Admissions 2024 will be available online in the month of May and admissions to the programs are done by the month of July. - A Master’s degree in any discipline from any University or other Institution recognized by this University; or
- A Post-Graduate Diploma/Degree of fewer than two years’ duration from any University or Institution recognized by this University provided that you have completed at least a total of five years of graduate and postgraduate study in a recognized university or institution; or
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Technology /Pharmacy /MCA of this university or from any other university or Institutions recognized as equivalent thereto by the university;

Jadavpur University Infrastructure and Facilities
Jadavpur University is spread across 96.5 acres at Raja SC Mullik Road, Bidhanagar, Kolkata. The Infrastructure of the University is well built. JU Kolkata facilities includes Gandhi Bhavan Auditorium, Open Air Theatre, Subarna Jayanti Bhavan, Toilets, Guest House and Ramp for specially abled students. The Jadavpur University Facilities include Sports Centre, Technology Bhavan, Electrical Revamping, drinking and water tanks, Guest House, Library, Day Care Centre and Health Centre.

Selection Process
- Selection will be based on the written test & interview.
- The modalities of selection (on-line/off-line) will be notified at a later date through the University website (http://www.jaduniv.edu.in). Candidates are requested to follow website notifications from time to time in this regard. Applicants under CSIR NET/UGC-NET/JRF/GATE/GPAT/SET OR, QIP/ADF/DST-INSPIRE/VISVESVARAYA/Other Recognized Fellowship schemes have to appear in the Interview only for final selection.
