The Centre for Distance and Open Learning started in Jamia Millia Islamia with the assistance of the Distance Education Council in September 2002. The Centre for Distance and Open Learning is approved by the MHRD, Government of India in 2009 and all the programmes running by it are recognised by the UGC-DEB along with NCTE-approval. JMI CDOL Admission Eligibility Criteria

BA: Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board

BBA: Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board

BCom: Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board

B.Ed: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Science/ Social Science/ Commerce/ Humanities with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates)

MA: Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university

MCom: Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university

MBA: Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates)

• On the application form, you need to complete your personal details, educational history, and contact details.
• After completing the form, proceed to pay the registration fee. the examination fee for distance learning programs is Rs. 700/

JMI CDOL 2024 Exam Pattern

• Duration of Exam: 2 Hours.
• Question Papers: General Mental Ability, General Knowledge, and Awareness. This section includes Indian Geography, History, Constitution, Economy, Teaching aptitude,.
• Types of Questions: The entrance  100 multiple-choice questions.
• Language of The Paper:  English.
• Marking Scheme:  one mark.
