The university is established under the Haryana Private University Act 2006, received the approval of Haryana Legislature vide Amendment Act 36 of 2013 and consent of the Honorable Governor of Haryana on 11th April 2013, which has been published in the Gazette notification vide Leg.No.10/2013, dated 3rd May 2013.
