Kannur University is a multi-campus public university established in 1996 to provide development of higher education in Kasaragod, Kannur, and Wayanad districts of Kerala, India. It was established after the passing of Act No. 22 of 1996 of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. Admission will be provided in UG Courses- B.Sc, BCA, B.P.Ed, B.A.LL.B, B.Tech, B.Ed, MBBS, BAMS, and PG Courses- M.Ed, MP.Ed, LLM, M.Tech, M.Ed, MSW, MBA, MCA, M.Phil, etc. This University is affiliated with the University Grant Commission (UGC).

Kannur University Course Details with Eligibility Criteria

BBA
Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 or equivalent qualification by a recognised board in any stream with an aggregate of 45% and above

BCom

Eligibility Criteria: A pass in Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent qualification with at least 45% aggregate.

MSc
Eligibility Criteria: BSc with 50% aggregate or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject of study

PGDDS
Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in any stream from a recognised institute or university with a minimum of 55% aggregate

B.Ed
Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 and a bachelor’s degree in any stream with one core subject from a recognised institute or university

B.Tech

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should be 12th or Equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology, Language and Another subject.

MBA

Eligibility Criteria: Graduation and a bachelors degree in any discipline obtained through the 12th+3 system

M.Ed

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have B.Ed Degree of the Kannur University

M.Sc

Eligibility Criteria: Graduation and a bachelors degree in Science or Engineering discipline obtained through the 12th+4 system

M.Tech

Eligibility Criteria: A Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering discipline obtained through the 12th+4 system

M.Phil

Eligibility Criteria: Post Graduation in a relevant discipline or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities
