Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) under Karnataka University. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is the state-level entrance exam and through this examination, a candidate can get admission in various professional degree courses in the field of Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, etc. in various institutions and colleges of the state. The KCET 2024 Exam will be conducted in June 2024 (for CET), and June 2024 (Kannada Language). Interested and eligible candidates will have to apply for the exam and need to fill out the Application Form before the last date of submission.

Steps to Apply for KCET 2024
- Go to the official website of KCET 2024 and click on the available link of KCET 2024 registration.
- Now provide all the necessary details in the application form.
- You will need to upload some important and necessary documents such as scanned images of the Applicant’s Photograph, Applicant’s Signature, Applicant’s Left-hand thumb impression, and Applicant’s Guardian’s Signature.
- The scanned images should be in the prescribed format in .jpeg/ .jpg.
- The size of the images should not exceed 40 KB.
- The dimension of the photograph must be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
- The dimension of the scanned copies of the Applicant’s Signature & Applicant’s Left-hand thumb impression must be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.

KCET Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must check the eligibility requirement before filling the form
For Engineering/ Architecture Programme
- Qualifying Exam: Students have to pass class 12th exam or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
- Subject: Must pass the qualifying exam with Mathematics and Physics as a (Main Subject) and English as a (language subject).
- Minimum Marks: Students must obtain minimum 45 % marks & 40% for SC/ST Category.
- Appearing: Appearing students are also eligible.
- For Architecture Programme, Valid NATA score.
For Pharmacy / Science Programme
- Qualifying Exam: Students have to clear class 10+2 exam or equivalent examination from any recognized board
- Subject: Students must pass their 10+2 exam with physics, chemistry & biology and English as a (language subject).
- Minimum Marks: Students must obtain at least 50% marks and 40% for SC/ST Category.
- Appearing: Appearing students are also eligible.
B.E/B.Tech
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from the recognised board.
- Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
- Candidates with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST category candidates) score in PCMB subjects.
B.Arch
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from the recognised board.
- Candidates who have scored a minimum of 50% (45% for minority categories) are eligible for the KCET examination.
- Candidates who had studied Mathematics as a subject.
- Candidates should have a valid scorecard.
B.V. Sc. A.H
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 Intermediate exam from a recognised board.
- Candidates have scored 50% (45% score for reserved categories).
- Must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying exam.
Karnataka CET Exam Pattern 2024
- The KCET 2024 exam will be held offline i.e. Pen and Paper Based exam.
- Question paper will contain multiple choice question having four alternatives.
- The duration of the exam will be 320 minutes i.e. 80 minutes for each subject.
- Negative marking is not applicable in the exam hence, no marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
- One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.

KCET Admit Card Date 2024
Karnataka Education Authority (KEA) will be issuing the KCET 2024 admit card to the candidate from the last week of May 2024. Candidates who have successfully submitted the online application form can download the admit card from the KCET official website. Candidates must log in with their application number and date of birth to access their KCET admit card through its official website.

- Enter your application number and date of birth (as per SSLC/10th Marks card).
- Now, click on the submit button and your admit card will appear on your screen.
- Download it and take the printout of it for further processes.

Steps to check KCET 2024 Results
KCET 2024 Results will be declared on KEA’s official website and the scorecard. Candidates shall check their KCET 2024 results using credentials like KCET 2024 registration number and the image displayed in the official site’s text box. Aspirants shall score different ranks for courses like Horticulture, Agriculture, Engineering, and other courses considering the subjects and participants. KCET results will be announced considering the 12 marks and their performance in the KCET exam. The examination will be valid for a one-year duration.

Details About KCET Answer Key – 2024
- After completing the KCET exam, the provisional answer key will be published by KEA on its official website. Students can get it through online mode only and tally their answers with the published answer key.
- Aspirants can submit the objections, if any, to the Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations(KEA) Authority, Bangalore, on or before the Specified date either in person or only through speed post/email with all supporting documents.
- The correct answer key will be announced only after the evaluation of the published provisional answer key. The KEA will notify the candidates
