Kerala GNM 2024 Application Form will be Released in the month of September 2024. Directorate of Medicine Education (Kerala) DME Kerala GNM Admission for those students who want to get an entry into the Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery Course 2024-24, offered at Government of Nursing at Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, and Kottayam. Admission to the GNM Nursing diploma programme is facilitated through entrance tests, with a few colleges allowing merit-based admission. The admission exam is based on the subjects chosen by the candidate in the 12th grade. Every year, the application forms are released by the respective conducting bodies. The process of filling out a GNM Nursing application is governed by the guidelines and format established by the respective conducting bodies.

From the official website of Directorate of Medical Education, Download the application form and Prospectus of DME Kerala GNM Admission and the official website would be www.dme.kerala.gov.in. The examination authority will not accept the application forms of previous years. As per the documents, fill the application form correctly. Before the last date send the form with all the required documents on or fixed for the receipt of applications. No applications will be received in person in the office of the Director of Medical Education except on the last date and the exam

Document to be sent with Application Form:

• Application fee receipt remitted in Treasury (original).
• L.C or Equivalent certificate to prove the date of birth.
• Mark list of all parts of upper Secondary or Equivalent Examination and pass certificate within the qualifying examination.
• Recent Conduct Certificate from the top of the Institution during which the candidate studied last/Gazetted
• Officer should be produced.
• Proof of Nativity.
• Certificate of community obtained from the revenue authority Concerned.
• Certificate of physical fitness from a Government medical officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon.

Kerala GNM Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent.
• Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as their main subject with a minimum of 40% marks.
• Candidates who have passed 10+2 and ANM course from Indian Nursing Council approved institution are also eligible for GNM admissions in Kerala

Age

• The applicants should be 17 years of age at the time of admission
• There is no age limit for ANM applicants.

Domicile

• Must be a resident of Kerala.
• As a proof candidate will have to provide either DOB certificate/ Class 10th certificate/ Resident certificate

Kerala GNM Selection Process 2024

The Director of Medical Education will publish the merit list of candidates for selection to the GNM admission. Candidates whose names appear in the GNM 2024 Merit List will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. In the counselling process, candidates will be allocated seats on the basis of their ranking in the merit list.
