King George’s Medical University, is a medical school, hospital and medical university located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The medical school was upgraded into a medical university by an act passed by government of Uttar Pradesh on 16 September 2002. The university campus is spread over an area of roughly 100,000 sq metres. It is situated about 5 km from Charbagh Railway Station and is well connected to all parts of the city by public transport systems such as bus, tempo and taxi. KGMU B.Sc Nursing 2024 Application Form

Candidates can go through the application form details which we have mentioned below:

  • KGMU B.Sc Nursing 2024 application form will be issued by authority on the online official portal at kgmu.org.
  • Candidates can fill the Application form either online or offline mode.
  • Registration will be done when the personal & qualification details written in the form.
  • After that provide the passport size photograph/signature in the prescribed format.
  • Keep the needed printed copies for further process of duly fill-in application form.

The KGMU BSC nursing 2024 application fee can be submitted by both modes, online and offline. Candidates can pay the application fee online mode by using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Application Fee for KGMU MSC Nursing:

  • Candidates belonging to the General category will submit Rs 3000/- as an application fee and Reserved category applicants will submit Rs 2000/-.
  • OPH category applicants will not pay the application fee.

KGMU Nursing (BSC, MSC, Nursing) -Course Details with Eligibility Criteria

MBBS
10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 45% marks

B.Sc
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) from a recognized board

MD/MS/MDS
MBBS degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university

MHA
MBBS, BDS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS or Bachelor in Hospital Administration, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Age of the applicant should be less than 35 years on the last date of the submission of the application form

PGD
MBBS degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university

DM
MD in Medicine

M.Sc. degree in relevant discipline with an aggregate of at least 60% marks from a recognized university

KGMU B.Sc Nursing 2024 Eligibility

  • Candidates must have completed their Class 12 with an aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories) in the respective subjects- Physics, Biology, Chemistry & English from a recognised board or university.
  • As per the guidelines, the age of the candidate should be over 17 years.
  • The applicants who belong from the National Institute of Open School and State Open School are also eligible.

KGMU B.Sc Nursing 2024 Exam Pattern

  • This is an Offline Based Entrance Exam.
  • The Exam is conducted in Lucknow (the details are mentioned on the Admit Card).
  • Questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
  • The Exam Timings can be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm (180 Minutes)
  • The Question Paper is available only in the English Language
  • There shall be a total of 200 MCQ Questions each carrying one mark. Hence, the total marks for the exam are 200.
  • There is no negative marking for the wrong answer..

KGMU B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam Admit Card

KGMU B.Sc Nursing Examination hall tickets will be released from officials of King George’s Medical University on the official website. Applicants need to download the Admit cards before going to the exam. Hall Tickets can be downloaded by using a login ID and Password. Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried during the examination time and counseling time. No one will be allowed to take an examination without a hall ticket. It is useful throughout the selection process, so it is advised to take a printout copy and carry it along.

KGMU MSC Nursing Counseling Process

Candidates who qualified the entrance exam will be called for counseling procedure. Counseling will be conduct at the premises of K.G. Medical University U.P., Lucknow as per prescribed schedule. Distribution of seats, document verification and eligibility of candidate will be verified in the process of Counselling. Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- through Bank Draft in favour of ‘Dean, Faculty of Nursing, KGMU’ payable at Lucknow, at the time of counseling.

KGMU B.Sc. Nursing Admission 2024 Selection Process

  • Admission to B.Sc. Nursing Course in the College of Nursing, KGMU, Lucknow and following Nursing Colleges affiliated to the University, will be made on the basis of Entrance Exam Scheduled to be held on 30th August 2020 (Sunday, 11.00 am to 02.00 pm) at Lucknow.
  • The selection of the candidates will be strictly based on the merit of the Entrance Exam and preference of the college given by the candidate.
