MFA means a Master of fine arts. It’s a Post-graduation course in the field of fine arts. Students will learn about architecture, sculpture, painting, poetry, and music in this course. Students take admission mostly through entrance exams only. 

To be admitted to MFA 2024, students have to fulfil these qualities.

• Candidates wanting to have the MFA degree course must have a minimum of 50 – 60% marks in their graduation level from UGC approved university.
• Most colleges take the candidates based on their merit in the entrance exam, later followed by the Personal Interview or the PI round.
• We can fill the applications for the MFA course in both modes- online and offline in the institutes.

2 Years spread over four semesters (including internship or industrial training)

Eligibility

Any graduate with 3 years Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized Board/ University with a minimum of 50% marks. 

The minimum age limit 

No Age Limit in this Admission Process. 

In some colleges, candidates are selected based on performance in University/college/ state level entrance exams.

MFA Entrance test 

There will be 2 kinds of tests: 

1. Theory and 
2. Practical. 

This paper comprises 60 questions, including both target and elucidating questions. The Entrance Test will be of 4 hours 30 minutes. And there is no negative stamping for the test. This is the main thing to remember.

 MFA Admission 2024 Eligibility According to the MFA admission 2024-

• Candidates must have a BFA graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized educational institute. Or candidates with a BA Hons degree in Fine Arts with a one-year diploma degree in applied arts are also eligible to get admission for this course in some colleges.
• Students must have a 4-year bachelor’s degree in fine arts subjects, including drawing or painting, and are also eligible to apply to some colleges.

 MFA 2024 Admission Process

• Candidates must visit the colleges’ official portal. 
• They should make an application ID, access the application form, fill in the details accordingly and complete the application process by paying the fees.
• After that, a merit list will be out by the college authority. If students can see their name on the first merit list, they need to report to the college campus online or offline, depending on the institute.
• Candidates might have to attend the Written Test and go through the interview phase to be finally selected.
• After that, document verification will be done.
