National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, Hyderabad (MANAGE)

MANAGE was established in 1987, as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension at Hyderabad, by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India as an autonomous Institute, from which its acronym ‘MANAGE’ is derived.  Vision: To be counted among the most pioneering, innovative, user friendly and self-supporting agricultural management institutes in the world. Agri-Input Dealers in the country are a prime source of farm information to the farming community, besides the supply of inputs and credit. However, majority of these dealers do not have formal agricultural education.

Course Details

MANAGE Hyderabad  offers followings program in the following Departments

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Business Management (PGDM ABM)
    Eligibility – Bachelor’s degree in agricultural or allied sciences with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD). Candidates in their final year can also apply.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management (PGDM AEM)
    Eligibility – Bachelor’s degree in agriculture and allied areas. Minimum of 5 years of work experience is necessary in the field of agricultural extension.
  • Diploma in Agricultural Extension Services for Input Dealers (DAESI)
    Eligibility – Open to all candidates with a minimum pass in Class 10th
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Warehousing Management (PGDM AWM)
    Eligibility – Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian board.

MANAGE Admission Process

One can apply to several programs available through the application form accessible on the college website.  MANAGE scrutinizes every candidate before granting admission and only selects the best. For admission to the PGDM ABM program, the institute selects students based on their CAT examination scores. They base admissions to other programs on the scores of the students in the last qualifying examination.
