NIFT Chennai was established in the year 1995. Completing a wonderful journey of more than two decades, the center has set up a remarkable and ideal platform for the aspiring and creative young generation in the field of Fashion with Design, technology and Management. National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is responsible for conducting NIFT Exam annually for providing admission into the Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Master of Design (M.Des), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech), Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech), and Master of Fashion Management (MFM) courses.

NIFT 2023 Counselling
NIFT 2023 Counselling will be organized from the month of July 2023. Registration for online interview (PG courses) has been started from April 2023. For participation in the counselling process, students will go through online registration for counselling, pay counselling fee, make choices of course & campus, seat allocation.
How to Apply?
- Go to the NIFT official website and click on ‘Admission’ on the home page.
- Create a log ID and password to access the application form.
- Fill the application form carefully and upload the required documents as mentioned.
- Submit the form and pay an online fee of INR 2000 for the general category and INR 1000 for SC/ ST/ PWD via Credit Card/ Debit Card.
- The payment process can also be made through Demand Draft issued in favor of “NIFT HO”, payable at New Delhi of amount INR 2000 for GEN/ OBC (Non-Creamy)/ GEN-EWS candidates and INR 1000 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
- Candidates applying through Demand Draft must send the required documents, a printout of the duly completed Application form and the Demand Draft with the name, date amount, and signature of the issuing authority to the following address:
