NIMCET or National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test is an exam conducted for admissions to MCA programmes. This entrance exam is conducted every year to offer admission into Masters in Computer Application (MCA)Programme in participating NITs.

The NIMCET (Common Entrance Test) is the national level entrance test in India conducted by the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses. There are ten NITs where the candidates can take admission in MCA, like NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) and Warangal.   Qualified candidates of this examination will get admission in one of eleven NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), and Warangal. NIMCET 2024- Registration Process

NIMCET 2024 Application Form

• The registration process for NIMCET Application form will be regulated through online mode.
• Candidates will be able to submit the application form from the 1^st week of March 2024.
• The application form will be made available for eligible candidates only, so candidates are advised to check the complete eligibility norms before applying for it.
• The details filled by candidates in the application form should be correct and authentic as any alteration can cause rejection of application form.
• The Application form will remain available till the 4^th week of April 2024.
• Candidates must fill the application form before the last date of submission as no candidates will be allowed to submit the application form after it.

NIMCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship

• The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Age Criteria

• There is no upper or lower age limit for applying for the NIMCET.

Educational Qualifications

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must possess B.Sc. (Hons)/ B.Sc./BIT/BCA/B.Tech/B.E of a minimum of three years from a recognized board or university.
• Qualifying Subjects: Candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with one of the subjects of Mathematics or Statistics.
• Qualifying Marks: He/she must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in the qualifying exam. 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST candidates.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the last year of their qualifying exam can also apply, provided they have to present their passing certificate at the time of admission.
